My vehicle had a few problems with the tie rod/wheel bearing/other front end stuff. They did some work, don't get me wrong, but I had to take it to another mechanic to finish the job. Cost me an extra 15% to get the job finished. Would pick a different shop local... I know there's not many to pick from. Also picked up my vehicle with a couple loose nuts... not super safe. read more

Two thumbs down. Bad experience. I brought my truck in for a check engine light, was charged me 2800 in parts and labor and held onto it for over 3 weeks. (In which it sat in the front parking lot for most of the time) I've since had to bring my truck back twice to them only to find out the last time that "I need to take it to a specialist" I deeply regret spending my money and time here. read more

Justin helped me save 1000s of dollars with his customer service alone. I have never felt the need to leave a Yelp review, but I feel like I had to for Justin's shop. Definitely a lifesaver and one of the best guys around with top notch mechanical knowledge. I'd like to tell you about his outstanding service below; My girlfriend and I started our move from Eugene to Colorado July 3rd. At about 1 AM on the 4th of July my Jeep overheated and I lost power and had to pull over to the side of the road right outside of Brothers Oregon. After getting hold of a tow company my car sat for the 4th of July at the tow yard as it was a holiday. On the morning of July 5th I started calling shops in the Bend area to see who could take me in. After calling just about every shop in Bend and being told there was no openings for at least a week, Justin gives me a call after missing my call over the holiday. I told Justin my jeep overheated, and I'm in the middle of a move so I have all my stuff in my car, he said have it towed to his shop and he'll look at it; expecting it to be a bad water pump or another minor fix. He started getting to work on it to get me back on the road immediately. Unfortunately whoever owned the Jeep before me didn't do any maintenance and my engine was toasted due to a low oil flow throughout the engine. Justin told me he would drive to Eugene that night; to pick up a motor for me, and quoted me on the lower side for labor understanding the financial situation of somebody in the middle of a move. I paid for the parts and labor and he set off to go get a new engine right away. After getting back to Redmond, Justin worked 6 hours overtime in his shop until midnight to get my old motor pulled apart and the new motor put back together. After about 2 days in the shop, Justin knew the repairs wouldn't be done in time to make our move to start work in Colorado. He offered to personally tow my Jeep to my new apartment in Longmont. He just got to Longmont yesterday to drop my jeep off after a 20 hour drive. The engine runs great and everything works on the Jeep and I have nothing but the utmost confidence in Justin's mechanical capability. If you are an out of towner, this shop is the absolute shop you should go to. Justin doesn't try to rip you off because you're on vacation and it's an emergency. He's honest and his work is nothing but top notch. He will get you back on the road. If you are an in-towner, you should still absolutely bring your car into Justin's shop. I have nothing but the utmost admiration, to Justin's technical abilities, and his compassion for people when they may be at their lowest. read more

I took my diesel truck to Foremans 11/2022. Truck was under warranty. Warranty expired without my knowledge in mid December because he had my paperwork that he never gave back. Finally got truck back in February leaking fuel badly. Took it back to Foremans, got it back in March still leaking fuel. He told me to drive it and maybe the seals will start working. Took it to a diesel shop and received an estimate from them. Foremans not only didn't fix what was wrong he made it worse. Nothing was torqued right, there were wrong bolts and broken clips. The insulation mat between the cab and motor was soaked with fuel. It could very easily have caught fire. The more the guys at the diesel shop got into the motor the lack of knowledge on Foremans part was evident with all the damage he did to it. I paid him over $8000. He gave me my truck back worse than when it went in. The diesel shop fixed his mistakes for an additional $14800. I have a small claims against him but it won't cover all. My wife also took her car in about the same time. He had both about 6 months. Paid him $4000, drove it 6 miles and it died. She took it back to him and he couldn't fix it. We had it towed home still not running. My mother-in-law took her Yukon in for a fuel pump which he put in but didn't put the gaskets in. She couldn't understand why she was using so much gas. Took it to another mechanic which told her to take it back to Foremans. She did, he fixed it. He should have his license revoked, if he has one. He has very little knowledge on being a car mechanic. I had to give him 1 star but he deserves 0. read more

Avoid this place at all cost, because it will cost you plenty to get very simple work done. Nearly $500 for a new battery replacement. Yep, you read that right. Absolutely ridiculous... $237 for the battery (not egregious, so palatable), then $37 in shop supplies (who knows what those are), but $220 in labor? For at most a 30 minute job to diagnose and replace? Absolutely obscene and predatory. read more

Best service ever! Go there you'll be happy. My 2007 Toyota Highlander hatchback wa stuck in the open position and the loud warning buzzer was screaming constantly! I took it to the Bend Toyota dealer and was told I had to go to a body shop to have it opened and repaired. I contacted seven local shops and was told that January or February of 2023 was the earliest they could get us in. The last shop to respond was Foreman' in Redmond; he (Justin) said bring it in and we'll look at it Monday morning. He quickly assessed and fixed the electrical problem. The hatch now closes and the alarm buzzer is silent. Perfect! Worth the drive to Redmond! read more

Had my car towed to Foreman's at the tow company's recommendation. So very glad!!! Justin was quick w feedback and helped service the car immediately. Turned out to be an alternator belt that was newly replaced a couple months prior... so he networked w the previous mechanic and took care of it and didn't even ask for payment. Obviously this was an unusual case and I paid something as a thank you but just goes to show how great these guys are can't recommend enough! read more

Justin was very nice to us at first, but then we had the first motor he got for us seize due to timing belt issues (= poor work on his part). This was under warranty, so Justin agreed to replace it. This took him 2 months. We decided to take the car in to the Subaru dealership after we finally got it back so they could check his work. They told us the head gaskets on our "new" motor (which came to us with over 180k miles, which we were not told ahead of time) were leaking, among other issues. They've found over 3k of repairs on the work that Justin just charged us 5k for. The mechanic at the dealership knew to document everything before we even asked. Since then, our car has broken down 5 times in the last 3 months. After we tried to tell Justin about our issues with his work/parts, he told us never to talk to him again. We will now be forced to pursue a small claims court action against him to be able to pay for our car to function, which we need since we have an 8 month old. I would NEVER recommend anyone work with this shop unless you are a mechanic yourself and you can be in the area to oversee his work. read more
