We finally, finally - 17 months after the first parent died - got her headstone - and a return phone call from a brand-new employee. It took a totally new person in that company to recognize how to treat a customer. In good conscience, we cannot recommend Ventling Memorials to anyone.

She had continued to also plan and pay for her services for when the time came. When she did pass July 2018, we had her services at Flynn's funeral home. As stated she paid ahead of time and there wasn't much we had to pay for at the time of her services. I can say they were not as attentive to our needs this time around. My sisters and I felt like we didn't have direction during her services. When we had the graveside services a few days later, there was nothing set up. We had to call to have the flowers and funeral directors to come. 6 months later her date is not present on the headstone either. I believe the difference was they were paid ahead of time. They didn't need to try to please us anymore.

It's almost like the review written by Gus was written by me. Wrong info on death certificate. Obituary not posted until after service. Cremation delayed-rescheduled service due to this. Cheap urn-has to buy one on Amazon that was nicer than theirs at half their price, communication sucked! And so on and so on. It was a hard stressful lesson I learned a little too late. Some may praise but for me it was all a nightmare that I'm glad is over!
