My biracial kids and I just left this place. I am fully black in all my God given beauty. Ok, so I…read moredid not use the pool which was clean and well kept. The kids refused to set foot in the shower area since they we're grossed out by a bug or two but that's neither here nor there or the primary cause of concern so far.... I normally let racist experiences like this slide if but since relocating from Seattle, (which I have not ever overtly been on the receiving end there), I must say this is the first time since moving 2 years ago that I was this grossed out by grown folks' behavior. This was a new feeling. From the swimming teen staff , as well as the other patrons. It was the weirdest thing watching all the white moms and their kids (around 15 total) congregate, quite packed on one side and they appeared unrelated,, and then on the other side (we were there first BTW) just me with 12 other empty pool lounge chairs! . Yup. I am not making this up folks, it was quite entertaining but I had work to do so ignored active "segregation " which was too coincidental to ignore. As for my kids, they ofcourse had a blast AND will be back with their aunt that grew up a block away and physically " fits" right in! I will be back if they insist but the vibes were not receptive but I've educated them to not let their value come from others. I stayed an extra 10 minutes in the car to immediately render this review and saw the side I left slowly started being occupied, and I feel good articulating this as a warning to anyone new who is either black or a minority to let them be aware of this. I am happy to say we were definitely not bothered or experienced negative oral communication, however as we hear growing up..'actions speak louder than words'. Do not recommend based on the above. Lifeguards as well showed poor hospitality to an acute degree. But it's learned at home for the most part isn't it? And yes, it's still 2018, lol. "Buyer Beware" depending on the 'type of buyer you are. We then went next across the lake to Alexander's Ice Cream which has routinely been a top pick for a delicious bite or treat while enjoying a Safe, Inclusive environment when I make the 15 minutes trip to Cicero.

The center is in an unassuming building with ample parking in their lot. You walk in and the scent of poop water hits you -- but it's much better than at hotels. After a check in at the front desk and a short explanation of how things worked, we were ready to change for class. The front room has chairs facing big windows so guests can watch the classes and stay dry. There are cubbies for your stuff out in the open as well as a lost and found section and plenty of magazines in case you need reading material. Three changing stalls with curtains and three individual bathrooms with changing table, toilet and sink are available. Right after classes get out, these can fill fast so you may have a wait. I went in to the pool area for the Water Babies class to take photos, which they allow you to do. My sister and my niece enjoyed roughly 30 minutes of singing songs and acclimating babies to the water. They practiced moving on their stomachs as well as their backs, had some tummy time on a floating mat, and practiced cues for swimming and gripping the walls. It was really cute to watch, but more than that, I could tell the instructor loves what she does and knows her stuff when it comes to babies in the water. I caught glimpses of other classes -- toddlers to maybe 6 year olds or so -- and the instructors were kind and knowledgeable and the kids were having fun. I'd give this place 4 stars on a first impression, but wouldn't be surprised if they move up to 5 in the coming weeks as I get to know them more. :)

We received a response from them on 9/1/23 asking for more information about our warranty issue. I resent the photos and description to them again. We were promised they would come fix the defect before the weather in West TN area turned cold, and we had to winterize our pool. We asked for at least a week or two heads up to be sure we were not on business travel and so we can drain the pool. We were told they would get back to us with a date within that week. On 9/14/23 I received an email they will add my location to their repair map. I responded back to them that day asking them to please give me a time frame because we were getting loads of foliage debris in our pool daily and was hoping to close it up before the leaves began dropping really bad. On 9/18/23 I received an email stating that they were working their way from the North of the country to the South before it gets too cold but they would contact me a week prior to my scheduled repair. On 10/5/23 I received an email stating their crew has not been able to travel to my area because of scheduling OR weather but still aware my pool needs repaired. Our weather here was in the 80's at the time and no rain let me add. I responded back stating our work travel plans are picking up and we need to close our pool soon. On 10/6/23 I received an email that they are working from the North South while temperatures are still favorable for repairs and that they may be able to get to me in the next few weeks. On 10/7/23 I emailed that it has been several weeks and it's becoming winter in my area and we have put the cover on our pool but not yet winterized it. I asked them what their plan was for servicing us. I received a response saying "The plan is to reach out to us in Spring 2024 when you reopen your pool so we can schedule your repair. We do not repair pools when they are winterized. I will make note your pool is winterized and you will be on our list for next year. I responded that our pool needs drained for the work. We have only covered it but can uncover it for work to be done. Let me know when your company is coming to do the repairs. The service rep asked me to attach a picture of the invoice for the pool with the serial number on it to match the gel coat that will be used to repair the pool. On 11/13/23 We finally got a text message from an employee who said they could come "this week" and that he would confirm the day and time. I told him my husband was traveling on business and was not here to drain the pool and that we would be available on Friday for them to come but next week would be better if that works for them. He said "okay I will tell my boss" On 11/18/23 I had not heard from them, so I sent a text to the employee asking if he has any word for me. He responded "My boss needs to tell me when or somebody else, or maybe he's gonna contact you". 11/20/23 I sent another text letting him know I have not heard from anybody yet 11/21/23 I sent another text message with "??????" I asked that the company owner contact me. He responded "We can not do anything right now for the weather. We have to wait maybe next year". Again I asked the boss contact me or give me his name and number I will call him. He responded with the name and number. I called his boss, Jonathan and left a voice mail. I still have not received a return call........................Today is December 1,2023. we are more than not confident with this company. We purchased their product and we have a warranty. They blew off our warranty service call and apparently lack customer concerns and service issues. I would not purchase a pool with their name behind it ever again. I will update this post as soon as our service request is fulfilled and keep this review current as it unfolds. Stay tuned.

The group power class was co-taught by two of the new instructors. This class is very similar to the body pump class taught at the YMCA or the strength class taught at Lifetime Fitness. If you want to add weights to your workout and don't know where to start this is a great class. I didn't get a full tour since they were still working on the building and setting up the equipment. I peaked inside the cafe area and the pool area. This place is huge! I look forward to coming back once they are finished with the building.
