Her calm and relaxed demeanor helped us loosen up and be ourselves, it was such a fun bonding experience for us. She helped us with poses, giving us gentle direction so that we felt comfortable and confident. We received our photos quickly after the session and seeing what she captured brought tears to my eyes. It was nice to take an hour out of our day and freeze our memories for later viewing pleasure. She is the perfect sort of a professional photographer (do this with your arm, not that; stand this way; look there) blended with a carefree attitude to let you run around and create some of your own action shots. I had sent her a couple of pictures I had in my mind for our Xmas cards photo session and she helped me pick a good location.
