However, the…read morestudio is outdated, the bed looked like a motel bed, it was not what I was expecting when walking into there studio. When I got the first set of edits back I cried. When I first began this I told them NOT to edit my cellulite or stretch marks because this body created two beautiful babies and my husband loves my body just the way it is. He did the exact opposite of what I asked. He edited my legs so much in one photo that they look like there bleeding into the floor. When I called about this, because I was extremely upset, I told them I wanted them to undo the edits on my legs and touch up my face. The lighting was coming directly down on me and he was taking pictures of me at face level, so my entire face had a shadow on it making me look like I got punched in the eyes. Instead of just undoing the edits on my legs and butt they undid all the edits everywhere and just touched up my face. So my blotchy skin, from it being cold in the studio, my blemishes on my back were all clearly visible. This was supposed to be an uplifting experience, instead it only made me feel horrible a out myself. Once I got the second sets of edits back, that no one contacting me letting me know they were in my email, I felt like I had had enough. I didn't want to speak to them because I'm still so upset about the whole experience. While in the studio Barry took over 300 photos, I received back a little over 100 and I MIGHT use about 11 if them, if that. After seeing these images, that did BOT reflect me AT ALL, I emailed them asking for my sitting fee back which was 106$ that I purchased via Groupon. I emailed them Sunday and still haven't received anything back. Not even a text. All the reviews on Groupon are GLOWING and I'm not sure how. I will not go back to them again, for any type of photography. As I said in the beginning, they were very nice people but the photos do not reflect 20+ years of experience.

This past December, I had an opportunity to stay with my daughter and son-in-law. This was the…read morefirst time I had a chance to visit with them since 2018! To commemorate this trip, my daughter booked a photo shoot with Shelby. PERFECT! And it really was. As I wasn't the one who booked it, I am unsure about the specifics. I know that the shoot was in a studio that was easy to drive to and a private parking lot. We arrived about 10 minutes before our appointment but did not have long to wait. Shelby greeted us warmly and offered us hot chocolate. She showed us the two backgrounds and asked if we wanted specific shots. Since it was myself, daughter, and son-in-law, we wanted a few partnered with my daughter and definitely one with all of us. Shelby guided us to the perfect pictures. It was quick and we had such a good time with her. At one point, I started crying because I got hit with the "mom" feelings, and Shelby was able to get me back to smiling. She even got some shots of me happy crying that made me look good! Our pictures came out so well! We had the option to download our pics from her website and to order them from her. I did order two framed portraits for very reasonable prices. I definitely recommend Shelby for all your photo needs!
