They were nice enough to come and video tape our Korean ceremony that we had a few days before the actual ceremony and incorporated it into the video. They were great about asking my opinions and included music that I requested. They had so many candid shots that really set the tone of our wedding. And nothing was forced or awkward. I've looked at the other videos on their site and can see the quality is consistent. They make it a point to really get to know their clients so they can interact well with them on camera. They were never obtrusive and they somehow managed to blend in to capture all those special moment. I love watching my video and always get caught up in the moment when I see it again and again. They even made my DVD sleeve look gorgeous! All these small details helped make this the perfect memento from the wedding. Our family of 5 (including teenager, toddler and infant) did a 30 min mini session at a local greenhouse and it worked out great. What a cool idea for location during the winter, I didn't want to bring a newborn out in the snow. Evelyn was so sweet with our toddler who was almost having a meltdown as toddlers randomly do. Gina's photos have the perfect amount of "whimsy" to transport you to another world of wonder. She creates art that makes your heart happy. When I saw her photos, I felt that she would be the person for our family portraits. My baby girl's 1st year was rough with heart problems and hospitalizations. I wanted photos that captured the love we have as a family, something that made me proud of the challenges we've overcome as I gazed at it. That is what we have and im grateful. He spent hours with me and my senior dog, taking…read morepictures in several different parts of town and driving to different locations that had trails that my pup could manage, and which weren't busy with other dogs. At the consultation he learned about my dog's physical limitations and places he loved to go when he was a puppy but can no longer get to now, and the sites he chose for the photo shoot were perfect. Lake shots, mountain shots, fall colors, and great natural light. Both he and Kaitlan are clearly dog people, and did whatever it took for my dog to feel comfortable. David even waded into the lake up to his shins (in October!) to get some great water pictures. He captured my old guy's spirit in photos I will treasure forever. The pictures he snapped when I didn't even realize he had started shooting are some of my favorites - just a girl and her dog outside, happy as can be. The pictures are amazing, and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to be on the other end of David's camera with my best friend. It was so hard to pick the best ones, but with Carol's help, I narrowed it down. I'm sure I'll be back to buy more prints over the next few months. You set an appointment and Shalem does a thorough interview. Very consultative asking our daughter's likes, hobbies, and then walks through clothing preferences and goes through various ideas you have for sites and gets a feel for what you want want to express to others with your photos. Our daughter spent a lot of time studying in coffee shops so that was where we decided one shoot would be. Another shoot was in a marshy area, surrounded by nature, weather was a factor as it can be in September and October, so we did part of the session the next day when weather improved and we chose modern and natural settings. Be prepared with 5 or so outfits, and water boots. You're going to trek to a location in woods or streams if that's what you want. So be prepared! He encourages friends or family to join you to bring clothes, snacks and items you may use as a prop. She had her older sister and boyfriend with her. Now we wait a week or so till pictures are sorted and the best are pulled and we'll meet for final review and purchase. They sell their pictures A-La-Carte. So you have options of sizes, etc. and you can buy the copyrights too. Shalem has been here for around 8 years and was very word of mouth. Not anymore you're now in the Yelpasphere! Welcome!
