Unless you don't mind eating outside in the dark with all the smokers. Second....expect to wait a long time. This isn't a fast food restaurant so grab a beer and wait 45/60 min to get your food. Third... Switzerland is very expensive so this restaurant is no different. 2 burgers, 2 alcoholic drinks, and French fries were 98CHF which is pretty much 100 bucks. They have 3 sauces for you to try. Ketchup- Tasted like marinara sauce. BBQ- Tasted like smokey ketchup. 1000 island. Tasted normal. Burgers were great. They were juicy and delicious. Animal Style French Fries were a good try. Def not like the original but so far from home it was a nice find. This restaurant isn't for Americans. Way too expensive for what we eat all the time but I compare this place to the Melting Pot in the US. That place is so overpriced but it's amazing to get your cheese fondue fix. I can't imagine Swiss people coming to the US and eating at our expensive version of cheese fondue. Service was ok. It was super busy so can't really complain but I could tell our waiter was super annoyed with our audacity of showing up , with no reservation, and willingness to wait. And for some dumb reason you can't order "The Threesome" (or Hattrick) with a group of 5 people. 4 apparently is ok but we had 5. Cannot imagine why if 3 people order the same thing it's an inconvenience for the restaurant but DON'T DO IT or again your waiter will show his annoyance.

Arrived with no reservations; great food, good wait times, highly recommend! Everything was to our…read moreexpectations

That being said, this place is a cute mix of nostalgia with a modern twist. There are three burger options for beef eaters - I went with the middle one, Swiss Angus beef single patty ($22) which is topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. The pickles are more like cucumbers that are less marinated but still tasty. Cheese and other toppings are extra. I added Swiss cheese because why not? Also went with the garlic mayonnaise. Let me say this was one of the tastiest burgers. The quality of meat and cheese was phenomenal. I could taste the difference between an average fast food burger and this premium dish. The fries were also good (another add-on cost), thick cut and freshly fried. They have an American beer selection from Brooklyn Brewery. I also saw them prepare a crazy fancy shake. It will not be a thick shake like you find in the US, more of a chocolate milk with toppings. I opted to skip it after my large meal. Ambiance is nice, on the street corner, open with a good view of passerby's. Service is quick for Europe and moderately friendly, depending on your server. I did notice a lot of staff just standing around (maybe a slow night). Overall you will enjoy a fine meal here.

The restaurant was crowded but the service was swift. Since it was my first time at a Hooters in Switzerland, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was relieved the chicken wings tasted much like the ones served up by Hooters in the US. We ordered a mix of BBQ, mild, medium, hot, 911, and Daytona...200+ wings all in all. Also got 4 side orders of curly fries, and 4 plates of celery sticks. Washed it all down with 5 pitchers of beer. While they were all pretty good, the Daytona wings stood out from the rest in my opinion. The waitress was attentive to our party and kept the wings coming and the pitchers of beer flowing. The bill for 14 people was 346 fr total. which was quite reasonable I think. Definitely a great spot for a large group night out without breaking the bank.

The steaks, the sides, and starters were all excellent. The waitstaff was attentive as well. I took a star off because during the summer (and the heatwave) there is no AC. It was very hot inside and uncomfortable and also, because they don't have AC the full bar wasn't available. We had very a limited cocktail menu. I don't recommend going during the summer months. (The staff did try to accommodate with hand fans and ice cubes, but I was roasting in there) Outside of that, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The wait staff were quite friendly and spoke passable English. Our server was having some issues understanding us, but it could have also been due to the noise in the room. It was really loud, and we practically had to shout at each other for dinner conversation. It was really packed on a Wednesday night, so it was a good thing we made reservations beforehand. I loved the ambiance--a cool, modern, earthy style, almost zen-garden-like, with lots of natural stone and wood. There was also plenty of light, which I prefer rather than eating in semi-darkness. The restrooms were amazing. I really liked the mosaic-tiled sinks. There is also a cool wine cellar right before you enter. I wish I had my phone on me to take a picture, but I didn't think to bring it with me, and I didn't want to look like a lame-o who went back to the toilet just to take a photo. :P I was a bit exhausted from lack of sleep, so I didn't drink any alcohol and can't comment on the drinks. There is quite an extensive menu with lots of yummy-sounding options, and I opted for the grilled white tuna with basil, black olives, and eggplant caviar. You can order it as an appetizer or a main dish, and I chose the larger size for my meal. Given my past experience in their sister restaurant Tao's, I assumed that the dishes didn't come with any sides, so I ordered a side of almond broccoli. Turned out that my dish came on a huge bed of vegetables, so I really didn't need the additional side. Oh well. I still stuffed it all in though, because the food was quite delicious. My tuna was tender and perfectly cooked, the veggies were a tiny bit salty for my taste, but still good. The curious "eggplant caviar" turned out to be regular cooked eggplant that was chopped up. My almond broccoli was delicious, perfectly cooked broccoli with the nice crunch of slivered, toasted almonds. I never realized that such a simple dish could be so yummy. Very glad that I ordered it.
