Completely rude and consistently poor service on multiple occasions. I gave this place a second chance thinking maybe someone was just having an off day, but the follow-up experience was even worse, this time with someone who appeared to be the owner. I walked out and will never spend another dollar here. The cafe is frequently dirty, disorganized, and oddly empty for good reason. Staff act like taking your order is an inconvenience, show little patience, and seem openly uninterested in basic customer service. The food is mediocre at best, and whatever value it might have is ruined by the sour aftertaste of dealing with the people behind the counter. There are too many better options nearby to waste your time or money here. The taco truck around the corner is better, and Michael's makes a far superior sandwich while treating customers with actual courtesy. Spend your money somewhere that appreciates it. read more

Debbie was so easy to deal with at my 70th Bday celebration of me. The food was excellent and plentiful. The chicken satay had a yummy crust of curry on it with the chicken tender and delicious as well as the chicken empanadas. The best feature of our event for me was Luis, a man who did everything to make our party a success. He did everything so that we were able to enjoy our party. Other delicious food items were a very beautiful fruit selection, cheese platter, mushroom pate (which unfortunately was mistaken for chopped liver so I end up eating it all week!!!) Roadtrip pit stop for bagels. This place has dim lightning inside that you wouldn't know if it was open. The guy making our bagels wasn't inviting to us when we walked in. When a regular customer came in he then changed being kind and greeting to them. The food at this hidden gem is out of this world. I can't give it enough stars. The place has that hole in the wall kind of vibe so don't expect to meet that special someone there. This is going to be a long one, but well worth the read! My nephew got married at Deer Park Villa on March 26, 2025. TWO weeks before the wedding I was asked to coordinate their wedding, which is totally fine ( I have been in the wedding/party rental industry for 18 years ) and I'm use to helping couples with their wedding needs and have worked a lot of weddings and events as well. Being that this was a destination wedding and I have never been to the venue, I panicked. I got in touch with Debbie immediately, and OH MY GOSH, what a stress reliever/angel she was! She walked me through EVERYTHING! From layouts outside, to holy cow we might need to have a rain plan! I emailed Debbie right away, mind you, ONE week from the wedding, panicking asking "what the heck would the rain plan be??" Debbie IMMEDIATELY contacted me and talked me through it! Sent me a layout! Hoping it didn't rain for their wedding, but I knew I had a plan, just in case! The day I got to the venue, I was able to FaceTime Debbie and she talked me through EVERYTHING. My sister and I changed the reception to inside and Debbie walked me through how the flow of everything usually goes at this venue! She knew the venue like the back of her hand, it was like she was right there with me! She told me that her staff would take care of everything! I, of course, being a little OCD and not sure how the centerpieces would look once I was there in person, I needed to put that together ahead of time, for my peace of mind (her staff would have done it for me). Her staff folded the napkins with the flatware, put the plates on the tables, turned on (what I felt like) 100 battery operated candles, and turned on the mason jar fairy lights at the ceremony as well, moved ceremony chairs from outside to inside, and went above and beyond ANY catering staff I have EVER worked with! I spoke to Caroline (head of service) when she got there, told her everything I wanted to keep. Her and the staff organized and put together everything in one place. Caroline would come up to me to make sure everything was still set for the correct time from the timeline, or if things got pushed back (like most weddings usually do) it didn't matter I knew I was in good hands! I ACTUALLY got it sit down, eat and enjoy my nephews wedding! I never ONCE had a doubt in my mind that something was going wrong. Everything was PERFECT! On top of that the food was PHENOMENAL! It wasn't your normal BBQ chicken and tri-tip. I mean from the empanadas, chips, guacamole, steak fajitas, rice, beans, Chinese chicken salad, EVERYTHING was INCREDIBLE! I cannot begin to tell you how happy and impressed I was from the beginning to the end!! There was a connection from the start with Debbie and was a breath of fresh air from day 1! So, if you are still up in the air about catering for your wedding or any event, HANDS DOWN, Forks And Fingers is the way to go!! I'll start by saying we could not and still cannot imagine our wedding day without Debbie and her crew. Not only was the menu a perfect combination of different cuisines, but it was all absolutely delicious. Debbie made sure my husband and I had enough food - even scared people away from our sweetheart table haha - to make sure we were well fed before getting into drinking and dancing. At one point, she even walked across the whole venue to find us with our photographers to personally hand us a plate of appetizers! And oh my goodness, the way she and her staff executed the transition from ceremony to dinner....I provided little direction on the overall ambiance I was going for, and they absolutely nailed it. After the wedding, I heard from my parents how we had forgotten to get batteries for our battery-operated candles, and Debbie went and got the batteries for us! A true gem.
