It is a family run business so you are more likely to get a good service than some of the larger chains. I have marked it as 4* only because of where it is - just off the roundabout at the Old Village. You either need to get a lift or take a book - there are no cafe's etc in the vicinity so you have nothing to do while they work on your car.

Shocking. Two complaints…read more 1. Car went in for mot, needed a headlight bulb replacement. They fitted but then the lens leaked and was filled with condensation. Left it with them for 3 weeks, no updates unless I chased. Car came back unfixed with no explanation and this was after me collecting only to see half of the light unit thrown into my footwell! Thanks for that! 2. Car has an electrical fault. Quoted £750 for repairs. Spoke with manufacturer and quoted £200 less and told the garage had been given same quote! What's that all about? Used to trust these guys but absolutely not anymore. Just wonder what else I've paid for over the years that I would have paid less for elsewhere! Update!!! One year on and the headlight unit has caused an MOT failure! Also told the bulb replacement was non-compliant, clips are missing etc. Disgusting really. Without hesitation I'll do my utmost to ensure this garage is held accountable for this. Knew it was an issue a year ago but felt like I had no course of action. Not now, I'm up for the fight.

I would not recommend this tyre shop!…read more Price of £60 was agreed beforehand to change tyres on 4 wheels. The mechanics try to cut corners at this place to reduce their work! I noticed they did not balance the front tyres and I had to prompt them to balance the front tyres. They only balanced the tyres after asking them to do so. In addition the tyres fitted are directional tyres and they mounted one tyre the wrong way around! I had to point out their mistake to them. Then they fitted the rear tyres unbalanced. The reply of the "boss" was that rear tyres do not need to be balanced! Well, I have never heard of this and believe that rear tyres also need to be balanced. Finally they tightened the wheel nuts only with an impact wrench at full impact. But everybody knows that a torque wrench should be used for the final tightening of the wheel nuts. According to the "boss" at this place this apparently is not the case! At the end they demanded £80 for the job even though £60 was agreed. Avoid this place at all costs!
