(I went to the…read moreMidland Parks and Rec website and got a list of the playgrounds/parks... this one looked decent from the pic so we decided to give it a try.) Upon arrival, kids were excited. We had the playground all to ourselves! They ran to it and unfortunately were super bored after like 5 minutes. It was a bummer that there aren't any swings at this playground... my littlest can spend hours on the swings alone. While the kids played, it didn't help that it was like "only" 80 degrees out and the slides were SCORCHING HOT. I couldn't imagine in the dead of summer. This playground definitely shows a ton of wear. Not sure when they put it up but the hot Texas sun has destroyed the surface. There are a number of benches for the adults. One of which was on a giant slant. Not sure what was going on with that... All in all, I don't think we'll be returning to this playground. My kiddos had more fun playing in the dirt under a giant tree than playing on the equipment. We'll try some more!
