I am disgusted as a caregiver to my father in law at the incredible lack of professionalism of the office Dr. Michael McGlamry. This was the first time being seen by him after Dr. Frenchman left. My 88 year old father in law was denied service over a $25 late fee. Despite trying to pay with amex or apple pay he was denied to be seen for an urgent matter. The fact that a medical professional would make an 88 year old travel to an office and deny service over a $25 charge (they offered to come back with payment) is incomprehensible, and I would NEVER suggest being seen at this office. read more

I have been seeing Dr. McGlamry for a few years now. They are in a new office and it's lovely. The staff are friendly and conscientious. If I could give the office and doctor a zero for stars I would! The most unprofessional and rude doctors office I have ever been to! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I was given incorrect insurance information for billing and because they don't want to take the time to look up codes or reach out to the insurance company; I was told I need to come out of pocket. I went to Dr McGlamry with the worlds largest ganglion cyst EVER on my ankle. He not only made it "disappear" but he made it kind of fun, so I wouldn't be so anxious. Well obviously he had numbed the area too. I found everyone in his Practice to be professional, kind and actually enjoyable to be around. Dr. M's Assistant, Conner is a gem. The only reason it got any stars was due to the friendly nurse. Receptionist needs to brush up on being friendly. The doctor comes across as arrogant, argumentative, defensive and a bit racist due to his remarks about nail salons. He refused to believe anything I said or suggested, and only thought the condition in question is a bruise. He almost didn't want to explore any other possibly until I questioned him. I'll never go back and am seeking out another podiatrist in the Forsyth County community...! read more

Words cannot express how awful this place is, but I will certainly try. The only positive I have is the lobby/waiting area is clean and comfortable. The front office receptionist was rude and clueless. While I was waiting, I went to the restroom--it was DISGUSTING, so much so that I rethought going to the bathroom and went back to the waiting area. Was brought back to the clinic room. It was a wreck, with items all over the counters, tools left out (clean? dirty? Who knows...), there's "dirt" around on the floor. This visit was during Covid; none of the staff members are wearing masks. The staff member who brought me back to the room doesn't introduce herself and instantly asked "Why are you here?" in a very dismissive and condescending way. I was completely taken aback by the approach, but I started explaining exactly what I had already told them when I made the appointment. Half-way through my explanation, another staff member came into the clinic room and started cleaning the room. It suddenly dawned on me that they hadn't cleaned the room before I was brought back. The staff member starts vacuuming the floor and I see all the stuff on the floor being sucked up. I am instantly grossed out and looking at the staff members in horror. There is no embarrassment or any other emotion; they do not have any idea that this is not OK--this behavior is their norm. No antibacterial cleaner, just vacuuming. I answer the rest of the condescending questions while the other staff member "cleans." The staff member then informs me that they can't do the simple procedure I'm there to do; I will have to come back another day to complete that after the doctor's assessment (When I called and made the appointment, I had been told that it wouldn't be a problem.). At this point, I am surprised by nothing. I decide to wait and get the doctor's assessment. The doctor comes in relatively quickly, no mask, equally as condescending as the other staff member. I'm informed of all the things they can't do for me. She asks me to take off my socks and shoes for assessment; I lay my socks on the foot rest so that my foot doesn't touch anything of theirs. She assesses my ingrown toenail, very dismissive, says she can do the procedure next time. She then offers to do the procedure to both sides of the affected toe "because, why not? It's going to be numbed up any way." I explained that the other side of the toe is not affected. She sticks to her guns and says I should do both sides at the same time, "just in case." I explain that it's a needless surgical procedure on an unaffected area. She backs down. She asks me to stand up so she can see how I stand on the ground. Thinking back to their cleaning regimen, I ask about do they clean for MRSA. She misunderstands my question and says that my infected toe doesn't have MRSA. ??? She must have a magical ability to culture an infection on sight alone. After asking, she puts paper on the floor that I can stand on. She recommends expensive insoles. Whatever. She wraps up the visit, tells me to wait for a staff member to schedule the procedure, and leaves. A minute later, she pokes her head back in a states she "forgot" to where her mask in the room. Whatever. 15 minutes pass. I can hear the staff laughing and goofing off. Finally a staff member pokes her head in and asks WHAT I'M DOING THERE?!?!? Are you kidding me right now? She schedules the procedure. Whatever. I leave. I call back the next day and decide I would rather die of my infected toe than go back to that place ever again. read more

Doc McGlamery is a knowledgeable doc w/ good bedside manner. He took the time to explain why my feet are hurting - due plantar fasciitis & newly forming bunions. He gave me an injection (after putting me at ease) and provided me a sample, along w/ a script for anti-inflammatory medication along w/ a P.F. handout to take with me. We set up a 3 week f/u appointment & I'm feeling confident that, together, we can get this long time problem, under control. read more

Dr. Kron was recommended highly and he didn't disappoint. I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly and didn't have much of a wait. The staff was professional and friendly. I was very leery of having a cortisone injection but had tried everything else on my own and was in a lot of pain. It wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. He also had recommendations for inserts to replace my orthotics. I will go back to see him if I need follow up. read more

Dr. McGlamory was an answer to our prayers. After several botched surgeries (for tarsal coalition) by other surgeons, Dr. McGlamory completely restructured our daughter's feet through major reconstructive surgery. One foot at a time....over the course of two years, our teenage daughter left behind unmanageable daily pain. She is 20 years old.....two years out from surgery and just finished a semester in the Disney College program where she was on her feet for 10-16 hours a day! He is a miracle worker! read more

From the day I first met Dr. McGlamry and his staff I have had the best experience relating to my foot surgeries. He cares about his patients, calling me after each surgery at home to see how I was doing. I was so impressed by the work done on my right foot and how I no longer walked in pain, I immediately scheduled for my left foot procedure as soon as possible. No one typically looks forward to being operated on, but I truly was, knowing the outcome would be the same, and it was! As a CNA with a home health care company I get to see first hand how older people are treated while they are trying to keep as much independence as possible. Some of them may have cognitive, vision, hearing, or ambulatory issues making communication difficult. I searched on the internet for a podiatrist close to my clients home. I found your office and gave the number to my client thinking that he would give it to one of his children to make the appointment. Instead he right away took the number and called. I held my breath thinking that the receptionist would be impatient with him as people can sometimes be on the phone. Sometimes he speaks very slowly and quietly and is difficult to understand. To my relief and surprise, Holly, the receptionist could not have been more wonderful. She was not at all impatient or condescending. My client was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. Dr McGlamry gave them excellent care with the same attitude of respect and consideration. He patiently answered all of their questions while carefully explaining every step of the procedure he was performing. Cumming is lucky to have this podiatry practice in their city! read more
