Our "other" reservation for jet ski's was a NO SHOW and wouldn't communicate back after taking a deposit until threatened to contact police. Our day would have been ruined...except THIS great company got us going with jet skis, lounge chairs, canopy( for baby) and transportation for disabled dad on sand disability wheelchair!! Because of this it "saved the day" for birthday/family reunion with a new baby from the pacific coast. They were so gracious, helpful and full of good vibes. Love these guys!! Out of the 4 places I tried to call and do business with, these guys were the best. THIS is the place you want to go. Came to Ft. Lauderdale for my GF's Birthday. Wanted to take her jet skiing. But my plan was almost derailed when a google search turned up 2 horrible "companies". If you can even call them that. The first place doesn't exist, literally a fake name with a fake address, and they told me a didn't need a reservation and sent me to a place on the beach that had terrible customer service and apparently no jet skis to rent. I guess he was wrong about needing a reservation. So we ended up here on the recommendation from a friendly parking liaison. All of the guys at Ft. Lauderdale Parasail were really friendly and outgoing. They made us feel welcome and they really took care of us! The overall experience was so much better han we could hope for. The way it works is you start off on the taking the skis out with a guide on intercostal and since there's a speed limit, it takes about 10-15 mins to get to the open ocean where you can really open those baby's up. Initially I wasn't stoked about this idea but It's actually pretty cool because you get a nice tour while you cruise for the first few mins while getting used to the jet skis so by the time you get to the ocean you're ready for all out throttle. Plus the intercostal is a really nice sight. Again my appreciation goes out to Dan and George, who really exceeded my expectations and saved what started out as a complete nightmare. Asked a local where to parasail and they sent us here. So glad they did. They sail every 2 hours starting at 9am and expect to be out there for about 75-90 minutes depending on how many people are sailing. The ride through the inter coastal was relaxing and we learned who owns some of the ridiculous mansions we saw. Before you get to the ocean, you'll get your life jacket and harness on and once you hit the ocean, hang on! I enjoyed the boat ride just as much as parasailing! Speaking of, sailing was awesome. Great views and it hardly feels like you are moving when you're so high up. Overall, great experience. Only after did my husband tell me he is scared of heights! Highly recommend. read more

Signed up for the 9am parasailing time. On my way over there, I got a call from them saying that my sister and I were the only ones signed up for the 9am and that their Captain won't be coming in till 10-ish for the 11am parasailing time. The employee apologized for the inconvenience and asked if I can come at the 11am time or any time later for that day and that they will upgrade my height from 300ft to 400ft as a courtesy. Unfortunately, I had to rearrange my plans for that day due to this inconvenience, but it all worked out in the end. I signed up for the 1pm event. The place was easy to find, easy parking, easy and simple registration process. Takes about 15 minutes to head out from the dock to the ocean. The boat ride was very enjoyable, comfortable, and safe. They have a go pro package for $30 that you ask for when you're being suited up. Had a great time parasailing and enjoying the boat ride with a Captain Cris and Tommy. Guys working here were super cool. Wish we could have went out on the waverunners without a guide; but evidently, it's the law. The big drawback was we got stuck with a group of customers that were clueless. A few of these fellow riders didn't know how to swim; Couldn't speak English well; And definitely didn't follow directions. And to top it off, they didn't understand the basic rules of boating. Chose this place because of its tour of "America's Venice" with a guide. They put my kids on them and sent them into the ocean. One had to get got off within two minutes. They charged $150 each, not the $100. When I called they said that was only for a half hour. The hotel I'm staying at is on the beach -- they could've gone into the surf there. Our reservations were booked more than 2 weeks in advance. After getting an email that the location of our departure had been changed, we called to confirm this. The man on the phone was very unprofessional and told us, sounding half asleep, that "the boat isn't running today" 20 minutes before we left the house to drive there. In order to be sure that we would get our money back, we asked him to send a cancellation email that would disclose we would get a refund, we did not cancel and we are not a no show and he proceeded to say "a refund isn't enough for you? what do you want from me?" I personally rode a jet ski there and had great time, but I would not go back. The jet skis are nice but they're waiver form used there is very sketchy. Everyone follows the tour guide and they take you out to the ocean, which was nice. You see lots of nice houses and get a feel for the jet ski. Along the way, there was A LOT of seaweed in the ocean so we had steer around it and sometimes had to go through it. Unfortunately one person's engine began to malfunction because of this and she needed to be towed. We all continued into the water and trying our best to avoid the seaweed. When we all got back, they held this woman's ID demanding she pay $1000 for the seaweed in the engine. She obviously was in shock because it was close to impossible to avoid it. They kept her ID as well as the group she was with and demanded payment before they leave. Because of this, I would never come back to this place and recommend nobody else should until they change this waiver responsibility for damage. This place should have insurance and should carry the responsibility of incidental damages. read more

Read more about the story : During hours of the 22 of August of 2019 we, my wife and I were really mistreated by the members of "the Parasail" Company the fact of being mistreated in not only my concern but more importantly: the countless SAFETY VIOLATIONS that occured one after the other including the intention of physical violence and verbal abuse when addressing the situation, the lack of tolerance understanding, experience were the key in this situation. At the moment when we decided to pay for the jet ski service, we were told that there was a tour guide and it was advertised in every posible promotion as a ''great experience'' which was not. My wife and I, we know how to drive a jet ski and that was the first question our "leader" asked us. We said yes and we started the tour. He said that we had to be careful because there were always police officers around checking behavior of jet ski drivers and so from the very beginning we were very respectful about that. At certain point of the tour when the "guide" never spoke a word or properly gave us a service, my wife speeds her jet ski to let him (the guide) know we were looking for a little bit more or at least some conversation/ information about the location we were driving around (we are not locals from Fort Lauderdale) and he speeded her jet ski and told her in a rude way not to do it anymore, she then stopped and after that we followed him at all times for around 5 min until he decided not only to stop the tour but also he left us all alone driving more than 2 mlles away from the dock. This is an EXTREME VIOLATION of what constitutes the safety rule for a customer, this event not only makes the company look awful but this fact also remains in my head as one of the most dangerous experiences I' ve had. There were boats around us, other jet skis, many of those captains driving other boats saw us driving alone, the weather was terrible and very heavy rain started, not only blocking visibility, but also making our turn back to the dock even more dangerous, several boat drivers asked us where our guide was? we didn't know about it. When we finally arrived to the dock my wife introduced herself as a first officer of the US Marina after that I called their attention and told them the risk that it represented for us being left in the middle of nowhere not only abandoned by the person who was supposed to take care of us but also the big risk of ignoring the duty of preserving the life of customers at all times. Finally the verbal confrontation ended with the awful actitud of our "guide" taking off his t-shirt to approach a fight with me, that could have ended in a very Serious fight, and even worse, a mortal accident of 2 jet sky drivers all alone in the middle of an open water with no safety other than the life jackets we were wearing. The guide never told us what to do, or how was the tour gonna be, also he lied saying that my wife surpassed the 35 mph which was not true, he left us in the middle of nowhere with no reason to leave us alone, no matter what it s their duty to save or protect us during the duration of the trip, then he approached me physically almost to the point of the fight, he was verbally abusive in front of my wife, who despite of everything is a retired officer. This is totally disrespectful and more than anything is a total SAFETY VIOLATION. This person should not keep his position because a person who is capable of doing what he did is a person that don't care about the life of others. read more

Horrible. Everything was going well until they decided to take a short cut back and made us go under the narrowest concrete bridge. These people lack general common sense and took no fault for having the group of us go under and consequently hurting ourselves. One of us got out with a shoulder scrape but the other lady had blood dripping down her face from her head injury. It was absolutely horrible. Lacked sympathy and didn't even offer first aid nor offered to help with these injuries. They assumed no responsibility and didn't apologize. read more

Staff was rude, will not honor coupons, manager "Tommy" refused to have a conversation and demonstrates poor management skills. Equipment was not well maintainenced and was commented on my the captain regarding the safety of the banana boat used to transport parasailers. The only positive was the captain who was honest and knowledgeable. HEARTLESS & CRUEL MANAGEMENT AND OWNERSHIP! I purchased two tickets for parasailing from Fort Lauderdale Watersports LLC on 16 July 2021, for a 17 July 2021 parasail. My son, who was celebrating his 18th birthday on THAT day, was devastated when the boat left at 3:01 (for a 3:00 sail time), leaving us behind. The issue getting to the dock was a TERRIBLE Uber driver who took nearly an hour to get us where we were to be for the parasail. Now, I have the utmost respect and understanding for business owners. My mom used to be one. But, I will NEVER understand why a full refund is not an option when you are working with mostly tourists and individuals who are NOT from the area, and rely on public transportation and/or ride share. After a complete nightmare Uber ride, we met the man at the Fort Lauderdale Watersports designated doc at 3:01 ON THE DOT. The boat was gone. Yes, left at exactly 3. So this business got my $278, with NO option to reschedule during the time we were in Fort Lauderdale. EXTEMELY POOR customer service. I will say they are emailing me with the "promise" to utilize our tickets, if/when we ever return to Fort Lauderdale. Not exactly good customer service. RESPONSE TO OWNER.... AGAIN, a person has NO control over public transportation. My son and I did our DUE DILIGENCE to be on time. Sadly, even though I have reached out to you on multiple platforms, even social media, I have not heard a word back from YOU until you saw this review. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be comfortable doing business with your company in the future. Your business practices are pitiful. And you should be embarrassed. To reiterate, we were STANDING ON YOUR DOCK at 3:01. I was in communication with your employee at that dock, while en route. I didn't ask your customers to wait 5 mins, 10 mins or 20 mins, we needed ONE minutes leniency, and THAT would have shown that your customers meant more than the money you make off them. Those customers would probably be more disturbed by your keeping my 280 dollars and my son being completely devastated on his birthday, then it would've hurt to wait....the ONE minute. read more

Everybody here was super nice and helpful. It was the first time our 18 year old daughter drove one by herself. The person who checked us in - George - was very sweet and funny as well. Sarah was our awesome guide. Went about 20 through the intercoastal and then hit the open ocean. Nice area to open it up between a jetty and the building cranes. Pretty choppy but definitely fun. I went on the Jet Ski tour during the summer with my friend and it started out well. On our way back, one of the tour guides (Brandon) was disrespectful to customers and totally ignoring a customer's complaint. He began to argue in a yelling match with the customer and began to speed off his boat way ahead of the rest of the tour, leaving all of us behind and confused on direction. While on the tour, he had offered to take photos of us, to which we replied of course. After the tour, I wrote down my phone number and was promised that the photo would be sent to me by the end of the day. I waited... no photo. Then I called back the next day... was promised the photo.. no photo. I was then informed that the guide "took photos for tips," to which I proceeded to tip the guide via Venmo and awaited my photo. It had been 4 days and still no photo. Now this company has my (tip) money and I called every day after my tour for 2 weeks straight and was promised my photo. I still till this day have never received the photo and the company has still not reached out to me and has made false promises to me for the whole 2 weeks. Too add on, none of the equipment was sanitized. Very bad customer service and lack of care and respect for customers. read more

Everything seemed fine when me and my friend first got there. They asked us to sign waivers and take a test so we could drive the jet ski and then we would be on our way. They seemed frazzled and unorganized, but other than that no major red flags... until we got out on the main shoreline where they let us drive around the jet skis freely. Several skis flipped and BRANDON (our tour guide) took a picture of me and my friend. We headed back after 45 minutes or so and BRANDON got into a dispute with a police officer on the water and would not stop arguing with him as well as other customers on the other skis which was extremely unprofessional. As the guide and driver of a boat, it was his job to set the pace for the skis behind him, but he failed to do that correctly as well. The other guy on the jet ski who was very well mannered, got frustrated with BRANDON because BRANDON didn't check on him while he was several hundred yards back having difficulties with his ski. BRANDON got into a yelling match with the customer, with the officer that pulled him over for driving too fast in a no wake zone. Completely unprofessional! We also asked for the picture he took of us to be sent, but he refused unless he was tipped, so we tipped him (without even seeing the picture) and never received anything. We called for two weeks after to see if he could send us the picture but always avoided talking to us directly on the phone and came up with excuse after excuse.
