I don't know if I got lucky but the tour guide was really beautiful *and* knew her stuff, so she was able to answer even the most obscure questions the geek on the tour (there's always one and it wasn't me this time) could throw at her. It's also harder to get here so you feel more rewarded having made it for the tour, since it's only accessible when the tide is really low.

This is the remains of a allied assault on this important German weapons emplacement complete with concrete bunkers, an 88 mm howitzer and a smaller one. Closed on Mondays, but it was quiet and no crowd. Just no guided tours or access to the below ground concrete Blockhouses. A real piece of War history in plain sight.
