I usually don't like fillings in my pastries, but this was the perfect amount. The pastry itself was very flakey and buttery. Nothing to write home about the mocha, however. That said, the stars are based on the food, and unfortunately this was the most expensive meal we had in Mexico City and it wasn't even close to the best. We had a party of 9 and many items were forgotten about, which made service feel a bit chaotic. For my meal I ordered a jamón y queso empanada and a tamale con rajas y queso. About 15 minutes later they came back and said they were out of the jamón y queso empanadas and only had tinga left. I said that was fine, but when it arrived it was cold, almost frozen.
