If I could leave a review with no stars, I would. My recently widowed 83-year old mother's tank ran out of oil, even though she was on automatic delivery. The company refused to deliver any oil to the house because they said the tank needs to be replaced soon. However, they never told us that automatic deliveries would stop, leaving my mother without heat or hot water. There are not even any spots of oil under the tank. When we tried to call Fortin and address the situation, we spoke with Amber, who was condescending and argumentative throughout the phone call. She claimed that the work ticket from their technician informed us of the delivery stoppage. We found the ticket, which made no mention of stopping deliveries. We tried to explain to Amber but she refused to discuss it any further because we were not on the account. She then informed us that she was voiding the service contract for the house. This is horrendous customer service, especially to a senior citizen who has been a loyal customer for years. If this is the way they treat established customers, I would steer clear of them !! P.S. Their hold music has ads that identify the company as John's Petroleum, so we're not even sure which company is which. read more

All I can say is, I don't really do reviews but I needed air-conditioning help and fortin petroleum came was on the ball stayed here until they were satisfied with the problem i was having was completed. JB fortin did a outstanding job. Could not be happier. Nice and cool. read more

MAJOR kudos to Fortin! Midmorning, as snow was falling in what is supposed to be the blizzard of the century, I realized that our house had neat on the second floor but not the first (separate thermostats). I called Fortin, who has been our service provider for several years. A repairman was here within a half hour, diagnosed the problem, and installed the needed replacement part. We are warm! read more
