We got the chili oil wontons, green onion pancake, chicken dumplings and the sesame chicken. chili oil wontons - 7/10, the wonton was nicely filled and had a good filling. the chili oil it was coated in was slightly watered down green onion pancake - 7.5/10, the pancake was crispy and paired well with the sauce chicken dumplings - 7/10, the filling was nicely filled and juicy; however, the wrapping was on the thicker side and could have been cooked a little longer. the sauce it came with was great and went well with dumplings sesame chicken - 8/10, the chicken was crispy and glazed lightly with the sesame sauce. really good dish Food was good for its price point! Service was decent, restaurant was clean and food came out fast. Overall, would come again!

I LOVE dumplings and these did not fall short at all. They were quick bring us our food and so good, I sadly did not take enough photos but we order over 10 items and the best things we had were the pork steamed dumplings and the chicken stir fry noodles. The only thing I was not a fan of was the chili oil dumplings, they didn't have much flavor and they could have been spicier. Overall it was great and I would go again. We went super late and the place was small but they made room for us and were super fast even when we ordered basically the whole menu close to closing.

Omg the service is impeccable. Very friendly, welcoming and efficient. I was enthusiastically greeted. My order was taken and food delivered in a similar fashion. I ordered the shu mail and shrimp dumplings. It was my first time coming here as I had always gone to Bao Bao. Comparatively I like this place better. I will be returning.

It was time for dinner and we were out of town so we all decided we wanted dumplings. We found this place and we're seated right away. Very friendly welcoming clean inside. Menu is simple yet has a lot of variety service was great and we probably ordered a little bit too much food some of it's not even pictured here. Prices are also very reasonable. The sesame chicken had some of the most amazing batter I've ever had, but it was a little bit too sweet, the honey walnut prawns were great, the shoe eye was great, sesame balls were also really nicely done, but they were pretty small, the wonton soup was excellent and a huge portion.

I had to come back to try their food and I am so happy that I did! This place is definitely a new favorite of mine. The staff here is very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was truly a 10/10. The pricing is also very good. I cannot wait to come back and try more of their food. This place is a must try you will not be disappointed!

Nice to see new asian restaurant popping up in Vacaville. This place reminds me of 88 bao bao but they are fairly new but decent for our first time here. Seems like they are still training some staff and they were friendly and helpful. Portions was decent not too little and not too much. Price point is where you expect now with average of $14-20/per person. We ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice plate which was enough to have leftover. The male spicy flavor rice noodles soup definitely has a kick of spicy and the server did warn us and told us the golden spicy soup was even spicer so we're glad we took it down a notch. Lmao! I had the wonton and egg noodle soup & added chili oil that was available at the table. The dumplings were great didn't fall apart and had good amount of meat stuffing inside. Minus when they were first seated us right next to another only party in the whole restaurant a little too close for comfort to be able to get in and out we were moved at a different table to have a bit more space.. everything was great!

This was my first time trying FDH. Heard a lot of good feedback about this place and finally had a chance to see what they're all about. I ordered through DoorDash got crispy chicken that came with fried rice and a egg roll. I also got some BBQ Pork buns. The filling on the inside of the buns were very nice, though I thought the bun was a tad bit undercooked. The fried rice was decent, but felt a little bland in some bites. The crispy chicken was my favorite. They definitely didn't skimp on the crispy and the batter had a nice seasoning to it. They threw in some chili sauce on the side and it pairs well with the dish. Just wish maybe I could've gotten one more container of the sauce because it was nice. There were some hits and misses, but would definitely go back for the crispy chicken as well as try some their other dishes.

This place was amazing! It's good to finally have a local dumpling place without having to drive to the Bay Area. The place is fairly new but they have already got the hang of things it seems. The staff was super friendly and accommodated our large group right away. We were given menus, water and hot tea, which is always a plus! We ordered a bunch of food, not all pictures, but everything was really good! The wontons and garlic green beans were 10/10! The soup dumplings and fried rice were really good as well. Our noodles were good but probably could have used a little more flavor to them as well as the boba. Other than that we enjoyed our dinner! We were helped by Vikki and Kylin, if I remember correctly, but they definitely were super attentive and patient. We'll definitely be back!

They were able to accommodate a large party of 12. We ordered many of their dishes, xl Bao, taro buns, sesame and chicken fried rice. They also have boba but no coffee.

Fortune Dumpling House is a small restauraunt but has very yummy eats! We came on a whim and wanted to try out some of their XLB. We ordered the XLB, crispy spicy chicken and mala noodles with chicken. Everything was delicious and the XLB came out nice and juicy! The mala noodles had a great spiciness and the crispy chicken had the perfect numbing to spicy ratio. My few complaints are that they only have regular spoons for the XLB. They are not very soup-friendly especially once you bite into the dumpling. I highly suggest Chinese soup spoons to make these easier to eat. The dumplings were also more on the expensive side, but it beats driving all the way down to the Bay Area.

We came for the dumplings and they were good. Small.... but still tasty. A little underwhelming compared to all of the beautiful photos I saw on Facebook advertising this place, though. The restaurant is small and gives low-key fast food vibes. Service was pretty slow, but friendly. I prefer Yang Kee in Davis for dumplings. They are bigger, have more filling, and I prefer their sauces. I won't claim these were frozen, but I also wouldn't be surprised if I learned some were. I do plan to return, though, to check out the soups. We passed a table on our way out that went that route and they looked really good.

    Assorted beef dry rice noodles

The server said that this place just opened about 4 months ago, so they considered themselves still in the "soft opening" time frame. The servers were friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good and my bf and I were happy to see another Asian restaurant open up close to us. We got the shrimp dumplings, assorted beef dry rice noodles, and spicy crispy chicken. I will say the picture used for the spicy crispy chicken was not similar to what we got, but it was a good surprise. The chicken pieces were bigger than the picture. The shrimp dumplings were good. Our favorite dish was the noodles. Perfect amount for 2 people, meat was tender, and the sauce had peanut butter with a little spicy kick.

Although they're a chain, they did not disappoint and are truly a great addition to the food scene in Vallejo, especially if you're craving dim sum and don't want to cross the bridge. Food was tasty, service was friendly and efficient, and the pricing was more than reasonable. 88 Bao Bao is located in the Gateway Plaza shopping center. There is free parking shared among the businesses with several slots very close to the front. The establishment itself is intimate, but has a few tables for people to dine in, if they choose. We placed a phone order and the time quoted for pickup was accurate. Our order consisted of: - a Beef Roll - Shrimp Dumplings - Shrimp & Pork Shaomai - Wonton in Chili Oil - Chocolate XLB As noted above, quantity and pricing was on point. Flavor and taste of everything we ordered was fantastic. The chocolate xiaolong baos were a great way to round out the meal. Don't skip out on them if you have a little bit of a sweet tooth! 88 Bao Bao made a strong first impression. My family and I will definitely be stopping by again. Looking forward to trying more items off of their menu.

I was wrong. 88 Bao Bao makes some of the freshest dim sum I have ever eaten. We ordered two dishes and both were solid. The Beef Roll was my favorite. Loaded with flavor, freshly baked/fried, so delicious. The Har Gow was also tasty a simple combination of shrimp and ginger in a light noodle shell. Friendly service in a fast casual environment. Small place that can get pretty crowded. It's cool that you can browse the menu and order from a touchscreen at the table. We will definitely be back.
