Completely overrated.
Won't accept swimming shorts, but won't rent trunks. You'll have to buy some for kids for 16€ each and from 20€ for adults.
Swimming hats are a must, but don't worry they'll sell you for 2,50€ a piece. Reason invoked is hair getting all over the place in the streams and currents. Even for a bald guy like myself...
General precaution for hygiene, perhaps? All our kids who spent the time playing on the foamy boards there ended up with rashes. That gives some perspective, doesn't it?
You'll need a 1-€ coin for the locker which the cashier will certainly omit to tell you.
Overall the place is small and noisy, so much for a relaxing moment. The lifeguards are bored and not so attentive to unrest. Toys are flying and nothing happens until something happens, like someone is hit by one of them. No reaction whatsoever by the "lifeguards"
Quite an unpleasant experience all together.
You'll be better off dipping even just feet in the actual sea on one of the gorgeous beaches around. read more
