We are a small Addiction Medical clinic in Kentucky . Forward Financial was along with a couple other small lenders quick to help us when we needed to add staff . This was some time before covid and tele medicine were frequent terms in our clinic When the Medical World literally went crazy and our addiction patients couldn't come to us it was ugly . ***Predatory -- Avoid*** I found Forward Financing through BusinessLoans.com. They gave my law office ~$69,000 and are trying to collect $146,000+. Their own disclosure admits a 92.27% APR -- but they swear "it's not a loan" in order to avoid laws meant to protect businesses against high interest rates like mine. The deal was, they gave me the money and in exchange they were to collect 17% of my revenue - and this was in the contract. It was called a "cap" of 17%. However, they based my payment on an inflated $75,000 for 3 months of revenue -- so the fixed $3,041.65 weekly draw was already over the 17% cap the contract promised, from day one. When circumstances forced me to open new accounts, I told them and sent the new info -- they still hit me with a $2,500 "damages" FEE. Days after I told them I was in the hospital, they threatened to come after me personally, lien my business, and trash my credit. They were brutally intimidating and predatory. After I hired a lawyer, Angelo from Forward Financing emailed me behind my attorney's back and implied my own lawyer was a "scam" and ithat my lawyer was going to "abandon" me. So i had been going through rough times after covid19 affected most business like mine and i had a loan from forward financing and so far I think they are pretty reasonable and willing to negotiate your payments when you are facing a hard time.
