They charged $350 just for a basic consultation, and then wanted $1200 just for a lease for a rental property? (luckily I did not shell out money for this). Then they referred me to a CPA who was utterly useless, but that individual charged money for consultation as well. Birds of a feather. We used Forward Law Firm to finalize all of our estate planning, and I'm so glad we did! Although the virtual world comes with its unique set of challenges, the staff at Forward Law Firm made the process seamless. My husband and I had a few virtual appointments on the computer with Jared, the attorney we worked with. Jared was able to get everything done visually, with the except of a few legally required wet signatures. For this, we did go in to their office in Maitland. It was very covid-friendly. We were the only ones there, and it only took us about 20 minutes to complete all necessary signatures. I had a lot of questions for Jared, and he was able of answer them immediately. This law firm was recommended by a friend and we were so hopeful to have an attorney that could defend us against a group of ex clients that were trying to destroy our business. Within the first few weeks, we noticed that the attorney wasn't replying to our emails and we had to call and follow up with his staff to ensure he was doing his job. We had several time sensitive issues where documents had to be submitted by a certain date and they were late more than once. This caused us extra work by us having to do the work on the behalf of the attorney basically doing his job for him. This all began over a $6000 dispute. The total amount of money that we spent on this firm was over $11000!! The attorney promised me that in the beginning that he would never bill me over my budget and then I started receiving astronomical invoices, none of which made sense. We paid the bill to avoid them taking action against our business as we have stellar business credit. This firm is a scam and we would never send another unsuspecting small business over to this firm to be raked over the coals by them. DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM.
