Great local eatery in Flagstaff - stopped by for breakfast, and ordered the soft scrambled egg plate and sausage & potatoes ... both were they were very good. Street parking (pay) is available, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Delicious! Definitely would get again.. I think they were heavy handed with the seasoning (za'atar) but otherwise it was fantastic!

Other than the long wait time to get the food, food and service was fantastic! Great music and ambience. I don't get to try their coffee but I will next time!

First visit, Saturday morning visit. There was a short wait to order. The wait to receive the food was not overly long. The avocado toast and breakfast burrito were good. The London Fog stayed hot during my entire visit. The restaurant was nearly full upon arrival and was even fuller upon departure.

Fast casual experience, food was delicious, though took longer than the 30-40 minute wait time they quoted us. We ordered coffees and a matcha and got a second round before our brunch was delivered. Lovely patio, nice ambiance on a beautiful day. Parking was easy and convenient too!

Love the food. Because they cook from scratch you will be waiting for your meal up to 40 minutes. Bring something to read or conversation material! The right place for a lazy breakfast or brunch.

Cute coffee shop in Flagstaff! The coffee as very strong, but not bitter. They have a nice patio. There is parking around the shop. The service was friendly but extremely slow. I would come back on a weekday

Stumbled upon this and definitely will be back. Good vibe and even better food. I had the patty melt!

Cute small coffee shop in downtown flagstaff that also offers breakfast menu. We stopped in on a Saturday morning before hitting the mountain and it was definitely busy. The coffee is good but definitely strong. Not my cup of tea but if you live string coffee, this is your spot. But be prepared to wait as we water almost 30 minutes to order and get our drinks all together.

Wow! Talk about being totally underwhelmed. $$$ Spendy for ... what? $32.24 for one waffle, and one burrito, no drinks. Took 23 minutes for one waffle to make it to the table. It's now been 35 minutes, my husband has finished his single waffle, and the burrito still hasn't arrived. What an embarrassment for Flag. Such a shame. PS on the way out, we left before the burrito arrived, my husband spoke with the owner. Sam said "oh it's coming out right now", right after a server approached the table to tell us that the burrito went to "another table". Visitors should note that your hotels buffet breakfast will be cheaper than 1 single waffle from Foret. Let that sink in. An entire buffet breakfast is CHEAPER than one solitary waffle from Foret. And, I would bet, the service would be faster, too. You have been warned.

Waited for over 45 mins to get our food and there were not even that many people. Don't why the restaurant was so inefficient, and the food was just okay, they were good but consider about the serving speed and the prices, I don't think they deserved the long wait. We came there in early 9:00 but there was no savory croissant waffle already, and the menu was very limited.

This place is definitely top of the list for breakfast... the savory croissant waffle is something I crave frequently. Espresso martinis are sooo good! Love the affogato, mimosas, breakfast burrito, steak and eggs... Also... staff is so friendly! Gives coffee shop vibe but the food is soooo not... Stumbled apon it waiting for a table at another restaurant... so worth the wait!

I was on the hunt for a good matcha latte and a friend recommended that I swing by Foret and I was not disappointed. I saw a Thai Tea Matcha listed as one of their specials and I was all in. I only waited a few minutes for my drink, the staff was very efficient. They had some bakery items and a full kitchen as well, I would love to come back and try their food some time. There was plenty of seating inside and even a few tables outside. The decor inside was very vibey and there was even some local art for sale inside. In case you're looking for a fun activity, there is also a thrift shop next door!

Flagstaff, AZ. It was a late morning and not too busy when I stopped by here for breakfast. There is ample street parking but it is all metered or regulated by a machine that takes your money. I was told there was free parking but I did not see any, there was no signage to indicate this or perhaps all those spots were taken. I was pleased that they gladly substituted the almond milk, that normally comes with the granola, with regular cow milk. The granola was great with rolled oats and plenty of nuts, including pepitas and sesame seeds. Some dried blueberries and apricots mixed in and topped with fresh strawberries made this one of the best granolas I've tried. A nice finish on the tongue of maple syrup made this a splendid dish. The Seared Brioche was amazing. With citrus curd and ricotta, topped with fresh fruit and a hint of mint, it was a taste sensation. The light dusting of powdered sugar made for a great presentation. The Canele's were awesome. I ordered a latte also and it arrived at my table in about 15 minutes. At first I was disappointed to see that it was in a glass cup but soon realized it was an insulated glass cup that retained the heat nicely. Well done. It was an ok latte, nice flavor but rather weak. About 5 minutes later I asked a server about our breakfast. They went to inquire and returned to tell me that it's "Only" been 15 minutes and will be out in 10 more (This Did Not Happen). Soon after I noticed two tables near me who were seated much later than I, were getting their orders. I think all of us know when it's been too long to get your food but when this happens it's easy to conclude something is amiss. After the two other tables finished their breakfast and my latte had been long polished off, our breakfast arrived. Painfully late but delicious.

I've eaten here countless times and I'm never disappointed. They serve breakfast and lunch and have a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. I can truly say there's nothing bad on this menu! The staff is always super welcoming and friendly and the ambiance is refreshing. It's a smaller space and it does get pretty busy, so be aware of that. The best part is that the cafe is family owned, with roots in Playa del Carmen, MX. My partner and I ordered a chorizo burrito, a skillet poblano, and a plain waffle. While everything was just okay, it honestly felt like something we could have made better at home. I especially wouldn't recommend the waffles -- they were very airy, almost like toast, and at $14 they just didn't feel worth it. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it's not somewhere I'd return to.

We had a standard queen room both times and it's spacious, bathroom has two sinks one in and one out so yconvenient for two people sharing. The pool is a roundish shape but large enough to swim some laps when there aren't a lot of children there. There are four 2 level inter connected buildings and #4 being the furthest away from the lobby - you can park your car (parking is free) close to any building but it's a bit of a walk on foot. Location is a bit out of town not walking distance to downtown Flagstaff. Rating it a 3 star due to service. On a day when they don't seem to be full they still wouldn't accommodate a late check out by just an hour (at noon instead of 11 am) which I didn't think would have made any difference to them but would have made a huge one for us. Then there is the breakfast. Nice dining room and all, but service was slow and the food came lukewarm, this at a time when it was early and hardly anyone in the dining room. And in addition to that, I had tea and it came in a tea pot with one weak tea bag, and as I like my tea strong I asked for another tea bag in the same pot and was told I'd be charged a second pot of tea ($5). This kind of stinginess just doesn't befit the seeming stature of such a hotel. And finally, the teacup they gave me had a long crack in it - I discovered it when i saw the saucer filing up with tea and didn't think I spilled any in it. The crack was old and stained, not a new one, so it was shocking that no staff had noticed it for this long and cared enough to not continue using it. Let's just say I'd never encountered broken cups like this in lesser priced motels. For this trip to Flagstaff I also had a two-night stay in another hotel downtown and other than the swimming pool, it was much better value and more comfortable with more helpful staff - and no broken tea cups!

We were intrigued enough that we visited MartAnne's the very next night for dinner. That was on a Tuesday at around 6PM and it wasn't too busy the entire time we were there. House Horchata ($5.99) - This drink comes in a giant 32 oz Ball jar with tons of ice. Per the server it's made with milk and condensed milk, no rice milk at all. It's rich, thick, creamy, sweet, filled with earthy notes of vanilla and cinnamon. There's so much spice included that at some points, there's almost a gritty feeling while drinking. It's perfect for a hot day after hiking. Buckwheat Pancake ala carte ($4.99) - Buckwheat pancakes are something we've never seen before on a diner menu in the past. It seems to be pretty common around Arizona, so we had to give it a try before leaving Flagstaff. This one's pretty big, almost plate sized. It's really moist, fluffy, bouncy, and light with a slight sweetness and a certain earthy flavor. It's moist enough that it sticks to the ceramic plate it's served on. The pancake is somewhat crumbly due to the low gluten content of buckwheat, although I believe they use a mix of buckwheat and wheat flour to give some more stability. It's bluish grey in color with black specks of ground buckwheat throughout. It's dusted with powdered sugar, but it's not a ton, making the pancake not really sweet at all. The pancake comes with a small cup of their cinnamon honey butter. It's not mixed that well, leaving it mostly unhomogenized with streaks of honey and spice through the softened salted butter. Tamale ala carte ($4.99) - MartAnne's offers two types of tamales - the first a red chile beef, and the second a green corn and cheese. We went with the latter, which is a homemade tamale with a somewhat looser, coarsely ground masa shell surrounding an interior of yellow sweet corn kernels, a bouncy and somewhat spongy block of Oaxaca cheese, and a fragrant green chile. There's a slight sweetness throughout and the tamale overall is easy to eat. Chilaquiles, Xmas, Fratelli ($17.99) - This is a monster sized plate of a mishmash of ingredients. There are three things as essentially a base layer. Firstly some Mexican rice that's tender, moist, and fluffy, totally unlike the more common dry and and compact version. My guess is that they skip the initial frying step that helps keeps the starch together. It's quite fragrant and has gives a bit of heat. On top of the rice is a layer of hash browns. The potatoes are tender on the interior, griddled on one side to give a delightful crunch, although there's some acridity that develops. Another third of the plate is covered with chili beans - tender pinto beans that are well salted and seasoned. Then there's the eggs stuffed in between layers of corn tortilla chips, smothered with sauce. I went with the Christmas combination of red and green sauce, followed up by the Fratelli-style pork green chile. The green sauce is fragrant and vegetal, while the red sauce is more smoky. The pork, which is cut into chunks, on top is a bit tough and dry but there's more than enough sauce to make up for that slight demerit. Finally, there's a small mound of I believe jalapeno peppers, cut into small neon-green colored pieces. Some pieces are spicy, some are mild, all have a vegetal pepper taste. I found the food at MartAnne's to be pretty good. It definitely hits the spot after hiking all around the area for most of the day. Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women. Note: MartAnne's charges a 3.5% credit card fee. This is labeled on the menu.

There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area is especially impressive. They have what looked like a private dining space inside a barn-style shed, several gas fire pits, and even a slightly elevated platform that looked perfect for live music. The food itself was outstanding. I ordered the chicken and biscuits and my wife got the chilaquiles. Both portions were huge. The chicken and biscuits were exactly what I was hoping for: smothered in rich country gravy with a perfectly fried flattened chicken breast that was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The buttermilk biscuit was golden, flaky, buttery, and had the perfect balance of soft interior and crisp edges. I honestly got full halfway through my plate and never even got a chance to try the wife's chilaquiles. I feel like we'd only been seated just a hot second when the food arrived! Fabulous service - quick and friendly and always with a smile. Hubby and I each got a cup of fresh brewed coffee that did not disappoint! Not too weak, not too strong... brewed to perfection! My husband ordered the chicken and biscuit and I the chilaquiles Christmas style. Lord have mercy both of these dishes were the bomb! Not only plenty of food but super tasty - I had my chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and they also came with about 1/2 a freshly sliced avocado. Nice, tangy flavor and sprinkled with just the right amount of cotija cheese! Shared with the table and still had leftovers (and I'm not mad about it). Husband's dish was perfection - the perfect biscuit combo - fluffy, chewy and crunchy in all the right places, and the gravy not overly seasoned or salty. Chicken was a breaded/fried (possibly baked) and cooked/seasoned just right. Inner meat was tender and moist and outside of course was crunchy - batter was well seasoned and breast didn't seem greasy at all. I worked in a mom-and-pop coffee shop decades ago - everything was homemade and fresh and the coffee 2 die 4. This establishment brought me back to those times in regard to coffee/food quality and hospitality! Will 100p be returning when next we're in town!

I also tried their strawberry lemon bar, which I really enjoyed. This one was very good and had a nice balance of tart lemon flavor. The texture inside was tacky in a good way, and it made the dessert very yummy. Another square I tried was the Almond Joy bar, which was amazing. It had a base that seemed to be made with granola, topped with a sweet coconut cream layer, and finished with a thick layer of chocolate and shredded coconut. It was very tasty. The last dessert I tried was their bread pudding square. It was pretty good overall, but it wasn't anything special. I did find the bread pudding to be a little dry. Each dessert square was priced at about $4.50. The staff was really nice or friendly. On the positive side, parking was super easy since the bakery is located in the same plaza as Safeway.
