I thought that was nice since we were able to still enjoy their food despite us not having a reservation at Carmencita. The salmon egg Benedict was okay. The bread was really crunchy and it made cutting through it a little difficult. Salmon was a little salty. The egg and the Hollandaise sauce was cooked perfect. Hash browns has a little onion taste to it. The French toast was overwhelming for me since there was so much syrup and cinnamon topped on there. The eggs was scrambled nicely. Bacon was delicious. Coffee was good, according to the boyfriend. Mimosa was good! (Get that if you go) The staff was good. I would come back.

La Gringa was a delicious all American breakfast and brunch spot with the best in the City. Their eggs benedict are out of this world. Oh and when I was missing the typical breakfast potatoes or tater tots, I will go to this magnificent establishment to devour some. Not only that, after living in Madrid for over a year, I had forgotten what amazing customer service and friendly attendance at the table was. The service here is also excellent. American classics croon over the loud speakers as you read a menu full of burgers, chicken sandwiches, (real) salads, milkshakes, root beer floats, craft beer, etc. Yeah, you're welcome. While it obviously has a small difference in the name Central Perks from the television show (Central Perk to avoid copyright laws --I'm guessing) the interior is still relatively well done and has a nice homely and welcoming feeling. Since it is open late Central Perks also serves as a nice alternative to going out to a bar, especially with kids or people who don't feel like drinking. They have everything from Pancakes, to muffins, bagels, milkshakes and a wide assortment of different styles and types of coffee. As an added bonus they accept cards, and if you ask them, the staff will play a disk of Friends episodes for you while you sip coffee!

There was a tone of options on the menu to choose from but had to stick with what I saw on the website which was Pulled Pork Burger, Chicken Stripes and Chips with bacon on. When the food came I was pretty overwhelmed if I'm honest. I got my money's worth. I thought I'd get three or four Chicken Stripes but turns out it was a basket. The burger was really big and chock full as well. It was really yummy and didn't even touch the sides. I couldn't manage it all so some of it had to be taken back in a bag which I'll eat at home. At first we were sad that when we realized the Saturday Sunday menu was what we were looking at online but it ended up being okay. I got the big toast, cappuccino, and orange juice. My mom got the chicken bowl and chai. My brother got the pancakes and latte. My dad got the protein bowl with a double shot of espresso. For dessert we all shared the pandan. Not a single thing disappointed us it was all phenomenal. The server was so kind and so american friendly which wasn't very common for us on our trip. She even went as far as writing us a list of recommendations of things to do and places to eat for our final day. I am very impressed by this place and recommend it to everyone!
