Her power was restored fairly quickly, but her internet was not restored until Sunday mid-morning. My mother works from home and, because of this, was forced to use two days of PTO. That may not matter to them, but it matters greatly to her. She lives on a fixed income and also helps care for her elderly veteran father who has Alzheimer's, so every day of PTO is extremely valuable. I called Jody, one of the owners, to ask about reimbursing her for the time she lost from work. He refused and claimed this is simply a risk when right-of-ways are being cleared. When I asked if they were licensed and insured, he said yes, but also said that "isn't what that's for." When I explained the impact this had on my mother and told him I would be leaving reviews so others were aware of the risk, he laughed and hung up on me. Accidents happen, but how a business handles them says everything. In my opinion, this company showed no accountability, no professionalism, and no concern for the hardship they caused. Be very careful before allowing them near your property or utilities.

To get good results, you have to pay attention to the details. Just like a quality thermometer to pull that brisket at the right time, you need quality clean burning dry wood. I have a box of Smoak Firewood cherry, white oak, hickory and pecan at the ready at all times, if I get an urge to grill out or smoke on my PK360 or Cookshack. Every box appears to be hand picked, and clean and fresh but most importantly it's kiln dried. Having several boxes at the ready allows me to pick and match the wood to the thing I'm cooking. The owner Amy and staff are incredible folks that can answer any questions you have and even provide appropriately sized pieces. I'd much rather give my money to a local small business like this. If I'm remembering right, I believe they also supply several restaurants with cooking wood. This wood is even packaged so nice, it would be a great gift for a foodie! If you need some on a Saturday or while in Newnan or Sharpsburg it's also available at Cleaver & Cork.

Over 30 years of ordering firewood I've burned a lot. It was a little more expensive than some, but the quality is better than anything I've had before. Why does that matter? It starts easily but burns much longer. The pieces aren't from a trash tree, no rotten sections, perfectly split and clean. My full wood rack will last much longer than the cheaper products I've used in the past. I am a huge fan.

I would have let it go ... but today I came home to no water. Bottom line is that this company communicated with us in such a way as to make us believe that we absolutely needed a new tank and that was not the case. On top of it all they messed with outdoor faucet we knew was leaking but could at least cap it and use it, to the point where it is not functional at all ... another expensive total fix bc it's not removable from the outside. This company will have ended up creating a situation where they cost us more money than is necessary.

I rented a 30 yd dumpster in December near Hamilton, GA and kept it for several weeks. Used it to…read moreget rid of demo'd decks (pressure treated lumber) and throw away junk accumulated over the years. The pricing was competitive. I had one point of contact through the whole thing - April - who explained the rates, got me on the schedule for drop-off, kept in touch via texts, and sent me an invoice via email a few days after pickup. The pickup and drop off were friendly & professional. Just point where you want it & the driver puts it there. At pickup I didn't have to do anything (except finish heaving a few last things!). I just watched as he hooked the bin, pulled it up on the truck, and rolled a tarp over it (it's rolled out by a big arm that swings over the top). I live in the country so damage to the lawn/driveway wasn't a big concern for me. All in all - the cost was well worth it! We're maybe 15-20 minutes from the dump. If we'd thrown all of that out one pickup truck+trailer at a time, we probably would've made 8 or 10 trips to the dump. And then you have to unload it. So figure a trip takes ~2 hours. I'm very happy to have spent that time throwing away instead!
