After trying all the camera shops out in Amsterdam - I chose these guys to sell my Olympus micro 4/3 kit and get my new Nikon.
They gave me a fair price for the Olympus cameras and lenses and have been a mine of information on the Nikon, helping me to choose lenses, trading back ones I didn't need after upgrades and having a wealth of ever-changing second-hand lens stock to satisfy my collecting/shopping therapy needs.
I like these guys because they honestly tell me when I don't need something, which keeps me (and my partner, who is not a camera buff, happy - me: "let me show you the difference between the Hoya Digital UV filter and the other one" him: "don't, I'm just NOT interested").
Yes, they don't always have everything in stock, but it can be there the next day, which is the same as any of the online businesses, but what you get here is honest advice, and when they know you, invitations to try it out before you buy it.
They also have everything you might need to go back retro and get that medium format film camera you always wanted when you were a kid (amazing prices now compared to then) , set up your own home darkroom and try to remember how to mix developer and fixer again from when you did it in school.
I just announced to the other half that the brick out building in our new house is going to be a dark room, and once I explained that I didn't mean like some of the bars on Warmoestraat, he slapped a one week foto-Fransen ban on me.
