That postcard led us to attend their Issaquah location (Redmond is their main campus) and the Issaquah location opened up late last year as well. It's located in the theater/stage of an elementary school, and they provide childcare services for pretty much all ages. I still remember attending the first time and I was impressed. People were so welcoming, friendly, and I felt comfortable. Pastor Ben Sigman (lead) is hilarious. I pretty much laugh at every single joke he cracks, and I enjoy how they incorporate a funny clip right at the beginning of the service, (like from a TV show) transitioning to the message and starting off with a laugh. There are many things I really enjoy about Timberlake, and I can see that they much great attention and detail to make everything come together. Rusty (Assoc. Pastor) is a great guy, and has offered to help my bf and I with some coupling services--great resources and small groups for everyone. Recently they just added a second service, in order to accommodate more people attending. Services are roughly about an hour long. Oh yes, can't forget about the yummy Krispy Kreme donuts, apples, bagels, o.j, coffee they serve :)

Father Todd has been our priest through our whole relationship and has seen our children grow. You get a sense of community and connection as this church is quite small compared to other churches like Mary Queen of Peace in Sammamish and St. Louise in Bellevue. I think that is one of the reasons why we love attending. It's just a homey feel and Father Todd is very passionate with his homilies. During Christmas and Easter, for those who do not attend church on a daily basis, the parking lot tends to get filled quite quickly so a suggestion is always to arrive at least a half hour in advance. They do offer shuttle rides down the hill, where the library parking lot is to help with the parking situation. Overall, great church!

I think like many churches today the church is taking a more modern, liberal whatever word you want to use and Pastor Mitchell and Krell do not fit into that model. During Covid I watched online and there were some interesting things said by worship team members. When I looked up one and read there bio. It told me what I needed to know. I emailed the church to ask about it and was ignored. I am being vague but not going to slander anyone online. It is sad to see what is happening in the churches today.

Then, we finally came to CCE and were amazed at how much we liked it. The congregation is much smaller than we were used having grown up in large churches. However, we were impressed with how friendly and inviting everyone is. Beyond this, we really love the preaching which is loving to everyone but not afraid to tell the truth of what the bible says, which is sometimes hard to hear. We have 2 kids (6 years and 3 years) and both of them love their classes on Sunday morning. If you are looking for a new church home, you should really give CCE a try!
