I almost forgot about visiting this particular Founders Coffee on Durango. If it wasn't for conversing with another Yelp Black & Gold Badge holder I honestly would've forgotten about utilizing my FREE VOUCHER at the Durango Drive Location. I was immediately greeted by Maddie (Shift Lead). I told her that I was apart of the Yelp Event a few months back at the Henderson location; and I wanted to use my voucher please. After going to the restroom, and coming back to the service counter. I then was greeted by Shane (Store Lead), I did recognize Nathan, and he remembered me as well. I saw Iziyah (Store Lead), that was also at our first Founders Event. Alayah wasn't there but she to was also very friendly. Shane explained to me what I could have on the menu. I was able to get a Protein Turkey Toast, Burrata Avocado Toast, Traditional Avocado Toast, and a Deluxe Turkey Croissant. My drinks were the Rise & Shine smoothy, and a Crunchy Caramel Frappe (Decaf). Of course I left a tip, there's a glass jar by the register. I did wanna try the Dubai Strawberry Toast but it seemingly didn't do as well as projected. I was rather surprised, that it didn't good. Nevertheless, the Hospitality, Customer Service, Friendliness, and inside of this Durango Drive Founders Coffee had a very chill vibe to it. I truly enjoyed the music selection. I'll have to try Snooze an A.M. Eatery across the street now that it's made its way to Vegas. I've gone to the locations in Texas but wasn't aware that Las Vegas now is getting them here. It's only been here since 2022 so that's awesome. I'll definitely come back to this location again to read, bring my book, and journal to hang out here a few time's a month. Bruh! I cannot sing Isaiahs praises enough! I caught the tail end of the event on St. Rose and Bronwyn (who was amazing as well) gave me a paper for an experience at the Durango location. I had to take old lady to an appointment so I threw the paper in the car. I DID NOT know what was in store for me! The outside didn't look as busy as it was, but the place was jumpin! Believing people cross our paths for a reason, most were busy but isaiah slowed down to check in with us. I asked him what the paper got us, he wasn't sure so he checked while I downloaded the app to make it easier for old lady to read. Little did I know we didn't need it! Isaiah gave us the royal treatment! He was asking us about flavors and giving recommendations. We started talking a bit and he shared that he's 22 and the assistant manager and that he used to be head chef at the M! Our paths probably crossed we figured out in conversation. He also remembered seeing us at the St. Rose store. Not only is he a chef but also a musician! We basically went w things he loved customising, or drank and ate himself. Mom kept changing her drink every time he'd tell me about a different drink. He was extremely sweet and patient. Isaiah sat with us and took the time to ask about our tastes and preferences. He really knows the menu and what his customers like. He made woman a hot butterbrew but let's just call it isaiah style as I can't remember all the modifications he made. Same with mine, it started as a chai-nnel. I did the toast flight w his recommendations of lox, burrata and egg salad. He said he made a mean turkey pesto, so that's what woman did. She later added a side of bacon w permission from homie upstairs since it's Friday. I'm not sure which toast was my favorite. I think I'd rank lox, then egg salad? It's probably tied with the burrata. My drink was fabulous. The music was cool and we were having a great time. The sando was also delicious, he shared that they make their pesto in house. As a pesto fan, I just became a bigger founders fan! Mom's drink was also amazing. We told him not too sweet, it was delicious and not overly sweet. He said he did 25%. He checked on us and truly rolled out the red carpet. He offered drinks to go, at that point he'd earned our trust and we said go for your life. He did a blueberry lemonade w boba and rose foam? I don't think I'm doing it justice w my description. Mine was toasted marshmallow w graham cracker and I can't remember the rest. They're both yummy tho! Our days been made. Excellent service and genuinely kind people are rare and Isaiah embodies both and more. He even did a little moonwalk, brekkie and a show lol. He's one of the people that will change the world, or your day if you encounter him. Really wanted to give him money to say thank you and support his journey. He wouldn't have it. I hope whoever reads this at the company finds a way to acknowledge and reward his rock star beyond 5 star service. In reading other reviews this place seems to hire great talent, but Isaiah won me as a fan, I'll talk about him and this experience for years to come. The food and drinks really are amazing. I'm happy to pay when things are done well. I'm looking forward to going back, and hope my path crosses with Isaiahs again down the road. This is the very first Founders Cafe . How does the "OG," stand up to all the others let's see. The views are glorious! The coffee over the top! The staff is magical and makes it all worth while. This little coffee place has some amazing views! As you coffee it's tough to not fall in love all over and over again! Love should be in the air if not you are at the right place. Coffee me please. For those extra days that you need a boost, let's begin with a "red eye!" The iced version is truly epic. Now that we know we have sensational coffee we need food to keep our minds occupied. They have all sorts of cute little snacks and options as you eat. You can have different types of avocados toast and egg versions. They are great for sharing too . The post was about their deviled eggs and my sister loves them so we stopped in. Of course I didn't get a picture of the one thing we came here for but trust me when I say she enjoyed them. I got to tell you, I can say nothing bad about Founders Coffee. Just like their other establishment in Henderson, this place has it all. Style, great coffee, amazing food, decor, and really good service people. The place is super easy to find, you won't be able to miss it when you're driving down. Durango. Just a short jog into a parking lot and you'll find the place. They also have plenty of outside seating which is nice in the morning as it shades you. From the hot Nevada Sun. The Durango location differs from the other location in that the vibe and artwork are totally different, but both have the same quality high level of service and standards. The Durango location has a big long chalkboard on the firewall that has plenty of things to look at while you're waiting for your food or while you're eating. I will say this, Founders really has an emphasis on customer service. The people there know their stuff, are fun, friendly, and willing to make great suggestions. As with both locations, I have not seen a single person working behind the calendar that wasn't energetic, talkative, and glad to be there. In this day and age where customer service really seems to be lacking, Founders kicks it up a notch by raising the bar. I ordered a toffee latte, and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely a sweet morning drink, so be forewarned. You will have a rush not only from the caffeine but from the sugar content! The thing I like most about this place is their sandwiches are huge. Did I say huge? Let me emphasize this again, HUGE!! I ordered the deluxe croissant which had egg, sliced turkey, avocado, cheese, lettuce, and this amazing garlic aioli. I think I said this before, but the garlic aioli should be a controlled substance... It is that good! Bottom line? The staffs always takes care of me. They also had one location at Henderson and I must say they are Awesome customer service as well as and superb food. I had coffee flight and toast flight. Place is close to the freeways and it's easy access and easy to find. I wish they put one up by Centennial Hills up North Las Vegas so I don't had to drive farther but either way because they're so good I go. Still a Founders fan, even if this visit had a few hiccups. I've always enjoyed Founders Coffee and have probably dined here three or four times, but for some reason never got around to writing a review. This visit was actually my first time at this particular location. I was running a little short on time, so I decided to use the drive-through. I think there may have been some issues with the microphone system because ordering was a bit difficult, but I was eventually able to place my order. I ordered an Americano and the deluxe croissant sandwich, and for my daughter an iced original matcha and an açai bowl. The line itself wasn't very long, but the wait time ended up being much longer than expected. When I reached the window to pay, there seemed to be an issue with their computer system and I actually had to re-order everything again at the window in order for the payment to go through. I'm also a Founders Coffee app user, and I had enough points to redeem a free pastry. I love their cherry yogurt danish, but unfortunately I wasn't able to redeem it at the window and was told it had to be done through the app, which was a little confusing since that's what I was trying to do. As for the food and drinks: The Americano was hot and tasted great. It's not my usual order, but the coffee quality here is always solid. The açai bowl ended up being a bit disappointing. They had run out of blueberries and strawberries, and since I had already been waiting a while I just asked them to make it with bananas. My daughter also thought a few other ingredients might have been missing as well, including the peanut butter. The deluxe croissant sandwich had a really delicious, buttery croissant with great flavor, but it was served cold instead of warm, which surprised me. The matcha, however, was actually very good when I tasted it. Overall, I really do enjoy Founders Coffee and under most circumstances I'd easily give them five stars. This visit just seemed like one of those days where they were working through a few operational hiccups. Because of the wait time, missing ingredients, and the app issue with the pastry, I'm giving four stars for this visit. That said, I'll definitely be back because when everything is running smoothly, Founders Coffee is one of my favorite local coffee spots. read more

Founders Coffee is a drive-thru coffee establishment with a spacious dine-in area perfect for getting work done. I was drawn to their matcha, coffee, and toast flight options; I opted for the former since I didn't need too much caffeine that day. They didn't have a seasonal flight but was told it would be available 2/1/26 so I got a DIY matcha flight instead consisting of banana matcha, honeybun, dubai strawberry, lavender white. For $16, I think that's a fair price. In general, I thought that the matcha drinks had a huge gap in quality based on flavor profile. Lavender white (4.5/5): Light, airy, and a great combination. Honeybun (3/5): Cinnamon was apparent, but didn't get honey or condensed milk notes. Banana matcha (2.5/5): I wished they have banana syrup in matcha and not just banana foam. Dubai strawberry (2/5): A bit too sweet, and the large amounts of strawberry syrup overwhelms the more subtle flavors of pistachio and chocolate. Overall, despite looking good on paper, I understand why Founders have a mixed rating. I definitely felt like their matcha lattes were not made equally delicious, and it was a hit-or-miss for me. Still, I was happy to have had tried their flights and would be down to order their lavender white matcha latte again. read more

My friend and I stopped in to grab a drink and chit chat. It was a pretty quiet day with a handful of tables taken. We ordered our drinks and wait about 5-10 mins for our orders. She ordered the banana & matcha drink, but only tasted matcha. She was disappointed in the lack of banana flavor. I had ordered a chai tea hot, and received it iced. The drink itself was very milk forward and very little chai flavor. We double checked the labels and our orders were correct on them. I personally won't be returning. Decided to dine in at Founders for the first time because I wanted to try a coffee flight. I guess I didn't get a picture bc my phone glitched out -_- but we tried the Dubai chocolate strawberry, banana, white chocolate macadamia, and the honey bun. I liked the white chocolate macadamia best - Dubai came in a close second. My 1.5 year old wanted a drink too so they made him a small strawberry milk. We also got the deluxe croissant and avocado toast. The croissants are massive. Bigger than my kid's face! The avocado toast had some kind of delicious sauce on it. Everything came out quickly after we ordered. I also ended up getting my son a cake pop before we left. Seating inside is definitely more ideal for small businesses meetings or meeting a few friends for coffee, not so much for parents wanting to get some breakfast and coffee - but what coffee shop is? This is a coffee shop I frequent whenever I have a Dr appointment in the building next door. Often I do to go orders, which are always on time. I've ordered acai bowls, toast, sandwiches, and today a blueberry scone that was served heated up on a cute little plate. Everything I've ordered has been really yummy. Oh my yum! Their coffee (and food menu) is so extensive and tasty. Love the variety. Can't get this anywhere else. They have a drive through and adorable in door dining spot. Inside is cute and has a nice grass wall and some fun founders writings on the walls. Very aesthetically pleasing. Their drinks have more espresso shots than Starbucks so you get a good bang for your buck here. I ordered a large Americano and didn't realize it had four espresso shots until after I ordered it. I was certainly buzzing after this! LOL Tried the nutty pumpkin americano for a fall treat. Was very strong with a hint of subtle taste; just how I like my coffee. So for stuff this place I truly am not a fan of their coffee at all, but I knew that before I went there so I did not get a coffee. I got food food always so darn good. This rating has to deal with a personal preference OK. The burrito chorizo burrito, the other person got this. It was actually a nice size for them. It was spicy and this is someone that can't handle a spice at all. That gives you an idea but otherwise they did. They liked it to an extent they barely ate half of burrito and then they threw it away. I am the other hand got the turkey avocado sandwich with turkey on the side. I'm not a fan of the pastel. I really am not. I keep forgetting a lot of places while you're supposed to make pasta with pinenuts I just can't stand peanuts. they are so disgusting. I can always taste them in anything. They're in. It always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I only ate half of the sandwich, but that's because I took the pesto part off of it. It was kind of soggy the sandwich that's why I'm not a fan of soggy either. It was OK though I don't know. I think I may be done with this place as well, but that's OK. Family wanted to visit Founders Coffee while in Las Vegas. It was counter service and the folks were nice and helpful. We ordered their 6pc (1/2 pcs = 3 eggs) Hard boiled protein topped eggs, Lox toast, Americano coffee and a special mixed flight of coffee and Matcha drinks. The eggs were yummy as expected while the toast was a bit underwhelming. The bread was soft and not toasted enough otherwise tasted fine. We loved the flight and the girls drank it down in no time. I enjoyed my Americano. We found out about Founders coffee via Instagram post but note they have other locations and we went to a different one than in the post so make sure you go to the one you expect. I have had this place bookmarked forever and have stopped in a couple of times now. This shop is spacious and can hold plenty of people that need to work, study, hang out, chat, etc. It is comfortable inside with some dark decor. They offer a drive thru as well which is convenient for those on the go. One of the special things about this coffee shop is they offer drink flights. I have always wanted to try this so we did. Our flight consisted of trying the Banana Matcha, Hula Girl, Tiramisu, and a traditional Matcha. The first thing I noticed was how small the tasting glasses are. They are roughly the size of a juice glass so just enough to give you a taste of each drink. The tastiest one out of all of them was the Hula Girl. The other drinks were just meh. Perhaps it was the oat milk brand they use but the other drinks were lifeless. I prefer Califa Farms oat milk. They are conveniently located off the 215 freeway. The parking lot is small as they share it with a couple of other businesses. I did not try any of their food options but some of the items looked good. I've been to the location in Henderson which is 100x better than this. Please don't judge the whole business solely off of this review, it's just this location. For starters, it is a very small parking lot and founders is located in the corner. The space inside is pretty small as well and just table and high top seating is available. Upon ordering the server had awful customer service, she didn't greet us with a smile... I have gluten allergies, when I asked for the protein bites, she said they were out of them and we went around 12pm. She then, proceeded to tell me I could eat sourdough (mind you, sourdough is usually not made gluten free unless it is made from scratch completely) she said she "thought" sourdough was gluten free, however, could not confirm. I just ended up getting a smoothie and it was extremely watery. For the prices paid, there are many other spots that have better food and service. read more

Worst experience ever! During my last few visits, the drive-thru has been ridiculous! I had to wait in a line over 25 minutes for my order when I was the Third vehicle in line. I started ordering via the app to avoid the long drive-thru line. The first few orders went through smoothly, however, I don't know what happened today. I arrived and my drink order was being made. The guy preparing the sandwiches then told me my bacon croissant sandwich was over there and pointed to the station where they are made. I proceeded to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes while the guy and this older lady walked by me ignoring me. After this additional 15 minute wait, the guy grabbed a box that had been sitting there the whole time and said that was my order. He offered to reheat it and I told them I had been waiting so long that I had to leave. I then opened the box in my vehicle and discovered that he had given me the wrong sandwich. I was livid! I requested to speak to his manager/ owner. He pretended to go into a small side rm and came back claiming he couldn't reach her. This whole time I hadn't heard any conversation having taken place so I really doubt that he contacted anyone. Perhaps he had spoken to the older woman inside the room. I asked for a refund and he kept claiming that he couldn't do it because the order was placed through the app. This discussion went on and on. I couldn't believe how rude he was given that he had me wait so long. I explained to him I had been here previously and the young ladies That work the window had advised me that the delays have been due to him working the sandwich station so slowly. After all my debating, I left with no sandwich and no refund. I had to contact my credit card to dispute the claim and get my refund. I sent their manager a message via Yelp and still have not received a return message for over a week. The guy when we were arguing claimed that he was the manager. I told him I don't think so given that Browen had contacted me previously saying that she was the manager. This location has lost this customer for life. I literally have been here everyday this past 2 weeks. I don't understand how they can afford to lose such good customers and act so rudely given the prices that they charge! Especially since I watched the dude grab rubbery egg patties in a bag I thought he was making my sandwich. No wonder these breakfast sandwiches have tasted like rubber lately. When I statlrted my order I said to go and proceed to order 2 coffee and toast flights each to sample everything. Also ordered a couple breakfast bagels, frappes, a lox bagel and a bacon croissant. After finishing our order the girl at the register apologized and told us that the coffee and toast flights were not available to go. That was a major bummer especially since I specified when I started my order it was to go. We ended up getting a drip coffee (it was free when signing up for their rewards program) and a rose tea latte along with our frappes and breakfast sandwiches and bagels. The coffee was horrible! It tasted burnt and extremely bitter. The rose tea latte tasted like milk. Both were very disappointing. The frappes were good but tasted more of sugar than anything. wasn't busy at all when we stopped by on a monday afternoon. service was pleasant & the interior's quite nice. the avocado toast was amazing. they were very generous with how much avocado went on top and we asked for egg and extra pepper flakes which completed the flavor. we also ordered a flight, which unfortunately was a miss. the drinks in their normal sizes are probably fine but it didn't seem like the measurements were quite right in the flight. the banana matcha tasted like milk. the strawberry ice cream was so sweet it was borderline inedible. the lavender white mocha was watery. the churro tasted good though, on the stronger side of coffee with a nice flavor. i'd skip the flights but they seem popular for their normal coffee sizes, i'll have to give it a try next time. read more

This is a cute spot to meet up with a friend or have a bite and coffee alone. I like the different options to make your own flight and that you can mix and match with coffee and matcha. I wasn't impressed with the service unfortunately but the avocado toast was delicious. To me, it's overpriced. read more
