They had a managers happy hour in the evening and the normal HI breakfast in the lobby. The rooms had flat screen TV and the beds very comfortable. One thing I really liked was that even though they were pretty full it was VERY quiet!!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it's not a high end hotel/resort but my rating was a 4+. I really liked this property much better than the Double Tree (outdated). Bottom line is its a nice property and you won't be disappointed.

It's a good property to try if you are in Saltillo/Ramos and want to get your Hilton points. Otherwise I would stay at the Quinta Real, not to far away. During this stay I found a pill on the drawer ledge, killed a cockroach in the bathroom, and found a suspicious "stain" on the bed runner (eewwwww). I've given this property a couple of chances, not sure if I will next time.

There are several nice restaurants located close to this hotel. They have a secured parking area and there is an American food restaurant within walking distance. Rooms are clean but you can see signs of being old: old towels, old carpet but clean, old furniture with no power outlets close to the bed. Tub is gone... But...breakfast is awesome. I had scrambled eggs with refried beans and chilaquiles...they have fresh juices and fruit, and a good variety of local sugar bread...this is making me come back again :) Also service is good and employees are very helpful trying always to go beyond to have you enjoy your visit.
