Service can be a bit disjointed at times, especially in busy times. Take away is always excellent, and it's the best value Cantonese restaurant for miles. I'd recommend it for a take away meal, but not to dine in.

Reluctantly we moved and then discovered it was a customer that asked us as the restaurant messes up his partys reservation. For the next 10mins balloons was hitting us and our food on the table, the final straw was a fire alarm going off and a chef came over and said its fine there is not a fire. We had enough and decided to leave. We spoke to the staff at the till to get a refund as this was ridiculous, they phoned there manager who was not there and we was denied a refund as it wasn't a food issue. The staff to be fair wanted to give a refund but made out they couldn't. Either way I've left my details at the store and tried to email. I will get ignored but I wont be returning and will advise everyone else not to go. A restaurant which recently got a 1* hygine rating ( look it up) i would expect to turn it around and also make a customers experience good. Spoke to the guys at the counter and they told me that new management took over around 2013. So that might explain it. I prefer to order a collection and I arrive at the shop around 20 minutes later to pick it up. The food is fresh and smells wonderful! Sometimes I nick a few chips out the bag when I'm in the car, just can't help it. Delivery is ok but when it gets super busy e.g. saturday nights around 6-8pm delivery time can be around an hour because they currently (I believe) have only one delivery driver. So I'd ask on the phone how long collection might be. Collection time is usually half the time of delivery, plus I save money on the delivery charge (esp. when I'm at my friends and we're a few villages away). The delivery charge goes directly to the driver anyways so I can't tip the chefs who actually cook the food at the door even if I wanted to.
