Kevin did an amazing job for us. From our first contact to job completion it was less than a month and a half, the actual work itself took less than seven working days. We walk many miles a day throughout our neighborhood and have seen landscaping projects drag out for months...some even years. We did not want to be in that situation. Kevin promised that once he started the job he and his crew would be on site every day until it was done. He stuck to his word (and we had read previous Yelp reviews before selecting him, as they said the same thing). We had a rough drawing and a laundry list of items we wanted done. Expanded driveway, retaining walls, pavers, landscaping/irrigation/lighting, extended flower beds, etc. The first day Kevin came by to check out the project, he made suggestion after suggestion of how we could make tweaks and adjustments to our plan to make it more functional and visually appealing. His expertise and knowledge helped us from making any bad choices. He was very easy to work with, and we adjusted and made additional changes along the way as we uncovered some less than ideal materials and implementation choices from the original landscapers - i.e. they cut corners, and Kevin highly recommended correcting their mistakes. He uses top notch materials, even if they aren't visible, including wall footings, sprinkler and drainage pipes, sprinkler valves, galvanized metal grids for concrete support, gopher wire, lighting, ... The list goes on. Kevin and his crew just knocked it out day after day, and Kevin always had the following days materials delivered in the afternoon so they were ready to rock and roll in the morning. As other reviews have said, Kevin was in the middle of everything, on site every day, working side by side with the crew on many aspects of the project...and picking up materials himself as needed. His crew was fantastic. They were polite, friendly, and extremely hard working. And, they were perfectionists...everything was carefully measured and sloped during the installation of walls and pavers. The results show it. We couldn't believe how much they achieved each and every day. Before they went home each day, everything was completely cleaned up...as if they had never been there (except for the pile of materials for the next morning!). After seeing Kevin's and his crew's work in our neighborhood multiple times, I decided to have him swing by for a bid on re-imagining our backyard. I already had two bids in hand (including one that needed a $5,000 retainer before he would discuss his "thoughts"), and was looking for someone REAL, who could take some general ideas and run with them. I am happy to say that definitely was Kevin. After some back and forth discussions, and a general drawing of what we had planned, I decided to hear the bid for what we dreamed up. It was a couple of thousand more than what I was hoping for, but my wife and I were the ones who introduced the scope creep - not him. We waited for HOA approval, and were able to start a couple of weeks later. I am extremely happy with the way things turned out (I will post some pictures at the end of this). Kevin is the owner, and the project manager, and while he has a great crew and #2, he is also the onsite supervisor. He was there everyday and every step of the project. It has been done for a couple of months now (sorry for the late post), and we are very excited about how it is growing in. His guidance and work are top notch. My husband and I cannot thank enough to Kevin and his crews for the beautiful landscaping remodel they performed for our patio area. We were looking for a landscaping company who can remove the existing lawn/paver replacing with sand cast concrete surface, install a privacy trellis along the fence and build a stucco bench with beautiful wood tops. Kevin, the owner of Four Seasons Landscaping, landscaped our entire yard, front to back, and it's beautiful!!!! We get a lot of compliments. The work included: installed artificial grass in the front and back (holds up really well to our big dog); built two patio arbors; planted privacy bamboo (to block views from our neighbor); installed patio pavers in the front, back, and along the side of our yard; and installed a built-in BBQ. Kevin and his crew just completed a landscaping project in our backyard. We had a landscape designer create a new plan to refresh our aging yard and minimize watering. Four Seasons removed old concrete, installed new drainage and irrigation, created new pathways with pavers, a gas fire pit, an arbor, lighting, and planted new trees and drought tolerant plants. We interviewed a few landscape companies. Kevin, the owner of Four Seasons Landscape, was a referral from a friend in the neighborhood, and several other neighbors had used him for various projects big and small. What impressed me about Kevin from the beginning was that he said to us that he worked the job WITH his crew and we would be the job from start to finish before he started other gigs. He told us weather permitting the project would take about 6 weeks. He was right on target. He and his crew worked very hard. I work at home and saw most of what they did first hand. I have to say, not only is he a man of his word, but his crew and he are exceptional at their skill. They are meticulous, down to every detail. I had designed the landscaping myself and I'm not a landscape designer. Kevin worked with me in an honest way telling me what would work, and how he could rework certain things that would not work the way I wanted. The result is pretty incredible. We have a backyard and front landscaping that absolutely exceeded our expectations. And we threw a couple of curve balls at him in the middle of the build-out and he really produced what we wanted without hesitation...with honest and very beautiful suggestions. They hardscaped, graded a back hill for two-tiered garden of fruit trees and vegetables, put in a BBQ/Island/Bar, bench with firepit, pergola, travertine flooring, concrete sides with drains, half walls along fences, steps, planter boxes, lighting, and beautiful plants.
