    Ravioli? Or pierogi?
    Rita V.

Well... it's one of those places that you walk into excited to try because it's a labor of love. Small businesses. Family owned. Farm to table and locally sourced. And then you order... and they don't have what you want. And you ask for the bottle of bubbles and the bottle is - warm. So no crispy skin salmon and husband snagged last of the short rib ravioli. It was me and a burger. Not the end of the world. But not what I came to try. On a Friday. Are they struggling? (Which would be painful). No one wants to see that. Slow. 2 tables ahead of us. Last salmon sold. What?! Empty tables. And a wait for food/service. Breaking my heart. Bar hopping. Dinning room dead. Picked up around 615. Food? Their house spinach artichoke dip is ok. Nothing to brag about. Short rib ravioli is truly homemade - the dough is "doughy" more like a pierogi. They advertise the sauce as truffle... not a lot of flavor. Burger is $20 and very greasy (reason I didn't really want a burger). They were nice enough to bring the bun on the side for my husband, which made all the grease travel over to the salad. The staff is LOVELY, which makes it more painful to review. As I write this, I can actually feel the stomach ache. And my heart sink. I came to check it out because Mullahys will be doing a cheese and wine class in the upcoming weeks. Hate to tell Katie that I need to take a pass. Because I literally hurt my gut. I'm so so sorry folks! I would have preferred not to rate... but I can't see my friends coming with high hopes and wind up with broken dreams! I sure, wish you all the very very very very very best and hope the restaurant survives. We won't be back. But you have your peeps, and they will keep you going! Ambiance - family friendly, energetic and lively. Cute diner-like country bar vibe. Staff - 3.75-4 Food - 2.5 Would give it 2.5 stars but there isn't an option.

A wonderful sunset with our supper
    Les C.

This was date night for us. We had a window seat on the parking area and watch light planes come and go in the twilight. The sunset was spectacular. Courtney was our server. I had an excellent Old Fashioned with Makers Mark. My love had an energetic but juvenile ginger ale. . She had the chicken sandwich which was a generous serving in a bun with a side salad. Excellent. I had the vegetable ravioli in cream sauce. Outstanding. The service is quick and unobtrusive. Two minuses. We had to fight off a pesky fly with whom we were not eager to share our meal. Also, I think the restaurant should have a ground pepper shaker. Just a thought. Oh, we had the today olive bread with spicy dipping olive oil. That was Wonderful! I highly recommend this gourmet airport restaurant. They serve breakfast on the weekends.

    Buttermilk & maple cinnamon waffles
    Adrienne E.

Unfortunately this place is not good at all. Everybody in my party was disappointed and didn't like their food. I had the buttermilk & maple cinnamon waffles, and they honestly were kind of bland and didn't taste like any of the described flavors. I also tried some of the home fries that somebody I was with had ordered, and they were pretty awful. They were thoroughly coated in some kind of seasoning, which was way too much and took away from the simplicity that makes home fries taste so good. It's great to season food, but it was like they had dumped an entire container of seasoning on these things to completely coat them from corner to corner. Another thing that all of my brunch party experienced was all of our food was cold when it was brought out. They weren't even all that busy when we visited, so I'm not sure how that happened. They may need to invest in some heat lamps or something. For the price you're paying for food there, you should be getting warm food at a bare minimum. Even if it had been hot when we got our food though, the food just wasn't good in general. I think what draws people into this place is the airplanes. We saw some small airplanes parked behind the restaurant, but that was it. None were in flight or landing, so once you had looked at the planes out the window that kind of was the end of the airplane excitement. You could probably just drive here and stop to walk and see the planes if that's what you're interested in without having to suffer through their food.

We tried to go there but the guy was rude to my wife about the patio and walked off. I bet the owners weren't there to lose $100.

Overpriced and kind of lackluster. Super trendy but just average food, though they did offer good sized portions.

It's quintessencial central Mass. bistro dining, where the waitress is the bartender, the maitre d' is the owner, the empire and mid century china is mismatched but matches the food that is presented on the dishes, and where that food is delicious. Many, but not all, items on the menu are gf, several are vegetarian, and one main and one dessert are vegan. We tried the well-balanced "Red Skies at Night" cocktail and would have it again. We also tried some of the new dishes that are rotating through the menu. The gf seasonal watermelon and feta salad is a particularly savory example of this summer favorite. Crab salad with avocado, hard-boiled egg, and real remoulade sauce, was a nice interpretation (served on a period luncheon plate). The main course artichoke spinach cheesecake was outstanding. Among the desserts, the gf chocolate mousse, which was served in an old-fashioned metal sundae dish and garnished with a fresh violet and real whipped cream, was rich and delicious. We will be back.

We expressed disappointment, but they then checked with the Kitchen staff and said sure if you order right away we would be happy to serve you. We were thrilled! We ordered drinks and had food, and it was all wonderful. We loved the speakeasy, vibe, the custom cocktails, and the impressive and carefully curated alcohol options at the bar. The service was wonderful and friendly. We thought, oh great, this is going to be our go to place in town, we'll be here frequently! Our next visit was completely different. I called ahead of time to check on availability, mention that we prefer to sit at the bar, and confirm that they do not take reservations at the bar, but that there were tables available. So we had it in. When we arrived, we clearly saw at least four open seats at the bar. But we were informed that those seats were reserved. I mentioned that I had just called to confirm that there were seats available and confirmed that bar seats could not be reserved. Well, that was perplexing. And there was no genuine apology, no mention that they might be sorry about the confusion, let us see what we can do... Ultimately, the hostess, did checked with some folks and found that there was a table that we could have. So we sat down for our meal. The service this night was decidedly different, and we couldn't help feeling like we'd forced our way into a private club that we really weren't welcomed at. That was a few months ago, and we haven't been back since.

We took our two younger ones there for a quiet Easter Sunday dinner together. So many interesting things on the menu, we way over ordered. But everything was delicious. We had the pork belly confit, the cheese bread, the octopus, and the parm wings to start. They were all polished off quickly. Our pork belly did seem to have missed a sauce, but we just dipped them with the cheesy bread sauce and was very happy. My son ordered a few different skews and thoroughly enjoyed his Picanha, sausage and cheese and chicken heart. My youngest said the chicken hearts were the best she had ever tried. High praise from a kid loving chicken heart since just a tiny tod. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye over mushroom risotto. We order medium rare and both of ours came perfectly done. Both our kids thoroughly enjoyed trying our steak and risotto. My daughter and I both enjoyed mixing my son's Yucca mash with the risotto. She practically scrapped my plate clean. We all had our eyes on the pineapple, but all agreed we were overstuffed and will defer to next time. We even had leftovers to bring home to one happy Puppy. Will definitely return!
