Without hesitation I write this 5-star review (they deserve 10!) for the service I received at FourWinds Travel, and I can honestly say I have not been treated better by any business in decades!
Being new to the area, I reached out on the Next Door website to get local recommendations for "a personable, honest travel agent; someone who won't charge an arm and a leg, but a reasonable fee to find all that I need." Like so many others, I had recently been horribly ripped off booking through Expedia and vowed 'never again!'.
I received several recommendations and called the first few. They were polite, but either too busy for me, or my travel plans weren't commission-generating enough for them to bother with.
Then I contacted Dan Presser of FourWinds who had been described by a neighbor as, "(an agent who) works very hard on behalf of his travelers."
HA! UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE CENTURY!!!
EVERY special need I had, and there were MANY, Dan put nose to the grindstone, fingers to the keyboard, and ear to the telephone to get me unbelievable prices, perfect dates and timing, every question answered, every special need satisfied, every request fulfilled.
He contacted offices all over the world and talked to their agents to get me exactly what I needed and wanted - to have everything double-checked and confirmed.
Watching him do all this is witnessing an art form in itself. He is a seasoned agent and good-hearted man who knows how to get results; your challenges are his challenges.
I left FourWinds feeling SO well-cared for and with a great sense of relief and excitement about my upcoming travels. Dan Presser's services are extremely reasonably priced, his demeanor unbelievably gracious.
It would be too corny to say that Dan really goes the extra miles for his travelers. Corny, but 100% true. read more
