It's 100 degrees in CA and I'm a failing vegetarian. But I smell too good to be a hippy. I can't be stanking the cafe when I harley up on my Zero XU for a double green tea. No stores around me had satisfactory pricing, quality, or were made in the USA. So I went with FC and I'm glad I did. Great summer riding jacket w/ vents. I'm a 44R, jacket weighs about 5 lbs. Cost me $325, came w/ a removable liner- they paid the tax & shipping. GQ labor camp jackets out of China run north of $900. As I read the yelp reviews between the lines I got the impression this company is serious about serving the motorcycle community, and I was happy to learn they have stood the test of time as a US manufacturer based in VA when foreign goods dominate the garment industry. I was looking for full leather protection for long cruising - with back, shoulder and elbow pads. When I first put my hands into the box I was blown away by the softness of the leather. Prior to purchase, I visited the HD dealer, who had a good quality import product, but it just did not feel right, probably because it was stiffer. The Fox Creek was more supple while weighing more, which i translated into added protection. To my surprise, the import was a few dollars more expensive. While it is often challenging to get size and fit right on-line, they were very accommodating when I described the fit problem I had. She suggested a different jacket cut to address the issue, and the replacement jacket was shipped the same day putting me on the road the same week. And about Yelp's overall Rating for Fox Creek: I don't consider Tahoe's 2 star review objective for this service business. I am glad the buyer explained why he rated them low, even though I felt it was unfair grading. Something tells me he would be best to shop at the local motorcycle store for the imports with the branding and where he will instant gratification, and no reason to review. Lastly, I can't wait for spring to take my new Indian Chieftain on the 6 hr ride to Fox Creek's store and get my first vest. I got my brother a wallet for his birthday before he went off to the air force but when he received it the slots were too small to fit standard IDs, credit cards, etc. and the wallet itself was too large to fit in his pockets, so I called to see if it could be returned. I got a nice man in customer service who told me it was no problem, told me to mail it back with the order number inside and the reason it was being returned and they would refund my money. I knew it was too easy. It's been a month and a half and I've had to call back three separate times to inquire about my refund. There doesn't seem to be an internal note system because each person I've gotten is very nice, but isn't updated on the situation despite my having talked to the company multiple times. I called again today and this time instead of receiving a refund, I was told that they're going to have to mail me a check. Fingers crossed the check actually comes. I don't feel like having to call back AGAIN and pull teeth for the money that I was told would be returned to me. It's not that their customer service representatives are bad or rude - it's that there's zero follow through and a huge hassle to get anything accomplished. I'll let you guys know if I end up getting my refund. read more

Found this place off of social media and ordered a leather vest but wrong size. Spoke with Rachael and explained what had happened and she totally understood (knew how freaking men are) and sent a size 52 out right then. They have what they call the honor system and will not bill you for the original order unless it's not returned. Love this place and can assure you that you will not be disappointed. The vest I bought is of such top quality I couldn't believe how great it feels when I wear it. Great job guys, keep up the good work. Great staff, a blast from the past. Have purchased from them on four occasions and have twice returned items . First off all I dont have to press one for english. A real live human answers the phone ! I am always reluctant to buy from the net but these guys have dismissed those feelings. I am always pro buy American and glad to see there goods are domesticly produced. When I had to return some gloves they sent me three sizes with a return envelope and told me to try them on, pick the pair that fits and send the others I did not want back ! Got to make my first visit to Fox Creek Leather on May 30th. While the shop is a little off of the beaten path it was a nice ride to their location. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating. The selection of leather good was probably the best I have seen in a long time. I spoke with several riders on-line prior to my visit and got good reviews from each. Price wise they are a little high, however, they have good quality leather goods. read more

The sales staff is extremmely helpfull over the phone with the sizing. The jacket is well made and fits like a glove. While Fox Creek is more of a Harley/Cruiser bike based business and the motorcycle gloves and boots reflect that. However their leather Jackets and over pants are far superior to most Asian / Euro imported leather motorcycle gear. I'm a sports-tour long distance kinda guy and am nuts about my bullet proof vented/ armored jacket. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the quality and customer service of this company's! Every time I call them I'm greeted with somebody that is very pleasant and knows what they're doing. They are also knowledgeable about their products. I have purchased three pairs of deerskin gloves. One pair was ruined in an accident but really saved my hands. Then I have another pair of deerskin to replace those with along with a high cuff winter gloves that are lined. They are very comfortable. My winter gloves that are lying came a little unstitched in the base between my four finger and my birdie finger. I called Fox Creek leather and there was absolutely no hassle whatsoever. I told them that I still needed to use them for a couple more months to still cold. They said that's fine to call them when I'm ready to send them back. They quickly mailed me out a shipping label and I have no doubt that they will do a fantastic job stitching about a force in of my gloves that was coming unstitched. I have a pair of chaps from them which I absolutely love! The only complaint I would have with anything I've ever purchased from them would be the Buckle to my chaps. I like to sense my chaps tight around my waist and when I would do that the rolling pin with pop out. I could put it back in pinch the two sides of the buses together and buckle them and they would stay buckled but I didn't want the hassle of buckling them. I called them up but did not want to send my chats back cuz I don't want to ride without them. They said they would send me a different Buckle that they described over the phone and when I got it I am very happy with it. They also said they would pay to have somebody that works with leather near me fix it. A cost me only $5 to have them take off the other buckle and put my new one on so I just paid for it. I have purchased two leather jackets a summer jacket and a winter jacket. They are both excellent quality! Great leather and very comfortable. If they read this I would add another two vents to the front of the summer jacket. I gave them a 5-star rating even though there are two things that I would change, but with their fantastic customer service, Pleasant people to talk to on the phone and knowledgeable staff along with fantastic qualities I definitely think they deserve 5 stars. Oh and I also purchased I think it was 7 pairs of riding socks from them that I am very pleased with. I would highly recommend them without any hesitation whatsoever to anybody is looking for Quality leather products that are going to last for years and years. Customer service is also very important to me and having somebody that I can one understand when I talk to them cuz they use proper English and to our knowledgeable about what their products are and how to get the best fit and what you were looking for. read more
