The venue, with views from Mornington across to the Moorooduc Plains, boasts a renovated Grandstand offering function spaces that can cater from 6 people to 600. With The Peninsula Cup being held this Sunday, expect to see large crowds flock the local track. If the races aren't your thing, The Mornington Racecourse also delivers its monthly (second Sunday of every month) craft market. The well treed site provides shade in summer and protection in the colder months, and hosts stalls of locally made arts, crafts, homewares, foods, wines and more. Beware, on market days and race days, traffic in and around the site can get quite hectic so be prepared to battle the crowds.
