On…read moreSeptember 2nd, I went into the rental office to discuss problems from the weekend with the alarms and AC vents. At that time, I was told by the property manager that Shekinah, the general manager, would contact me. To this day, I have not received a call. The property manager also informed me that the vents in my unit would be put back up, yet they remain unreplaced despite multiple requests. This situation is unsanitary and unsafe. Roaches and Dust falls from the ceiling i have also experienced a medical emergency in the office where I suffered a seizure, from all the dust and insect from the apartment building and instead of being assisted, the staff attempted to call the police I have repeatedly asked for a resolution regarding the constant alarm disturbances and the condition of my AC vent. My apartment is not fully functional, I have asked for temporary solutions, such as being provided a hotel room or alternative arrangements, until these issues are corrected. This ongoing neglect is unacceptable. I am requesting immediate action, a clear.

Homeless people gather around on the sidewalk frequently. The outside of the apartment is infested with huge spiders which makes it scary to just walk on the sidewalk or get your mail. Also towards the end of my lease around May 2024 I experience a horrible roach infestation inside and outside my apartment. Needless to say I was too happy to get out of there expeditiously!!!

They upgrade the carpeting very often especially if the old tenant had a dog you'll probably be moving into brand new carpeting. The place stays nice and clean and the Mangement team tries to keep the residents in order. There is a assigned off duty police officer to help with issues as well, although the area is very safe on the nice side of town.

They helped us throughout the rental process and our move. Lily is very sweet, dedicated and focused to her job- she takes pride of what she does. Kimbela, Megan and Lily are the ultimate consummate professionals and this is not an accolade I lightly bestow upon on them. This apartment complex is the best as it can be. From the start, I dealt with tenants screaming in the hallways at all hours, but I ignored it, thinking it was just part of the bargain. Then, two months in, my bathroom ceiling collapsed during a rainstorm, flooding the entire area. The maintenance worker admitted it was a big issue, but instead of handling it properly, management refused to let me out of my lease and insisted on a quick patch job. Unsurprisingly, the ceiling collapsed again just weeks later. When my four-month lease finally ended, I went above and beyond to leave the place spotless--even leaving behind a brand-new mattress for them. During the walkthrough, I was told everything was in perfect condition. Then, over a month later, I got an email deducting a $250 "standard cleaning fee" from my deposit. When I called to dispute it, I was met with the same robotic response: "It's standard." Apparently, it doesn't matter what condition you leave the unit in--Vida will find a way to take your money. This place is a scam. Once they have your rent, they don't care about anything else.

Never got a phone call never got contacted and they're like oh we can refer you to one of our other properties. If I wanted one of the other properties, I would've called and schedule a tour for that place. This is so unprofessional and this is ridiculous. I literally came from eight hours away to tour an apartment and they didn't have the decency to call me and let me know that they will not be here and the management here is trash. !!!!

Despite that, I was never informed of critical updates regarding rent payments. The old management company left a letter on my door saying rent should not be paid to them, but since I don't live there full-time, I never saw it--what happened to sending messages through the portal or EMAIL? The previous management ended their relationship with the complex on February 28th (very recent), and now I can't even get a direct contact for the new management. I called the old management company, I'm told that new management should have reached out--well, they haven't. I was also told to GOOGLE who owns the company!!! Like what the hell?? No one can give me a phone number, and I'm getting the runaround about my rent payment refund because apparently, I have to speak to Chase Stewart (or whatever his name is), but he's never in the office! I have also expressed my interest in ending my lease, and if the new management sees this, consider this my notice that I no longer want to live here! The lack of communication, accountability, and overall management failure has made this an incredibly stressful experience. If you're considering living here, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

You could see the all the way to Montgomery and see the planes at Maxwell AFB taking off and landing. It is also a great place for your pets. The staff is very friendly, efficient, and professional. Cindy at the front desk has been especially helpful over the years. Work orders get fixed quickly, the grounds are well kempt, and they actually give a discount for military service members! The apartments are quite, safe, family friendly, pet friendly, fairly cheap compared to other apartments (with less amenities), and the location frankly can't be beat. You're within a 3-4 minute drive to publix, walmart, lowe's, home depot, target, chick-fil-a, several gas stations, numerous restaurants, numerous retailers, etc. It is only a 12 minute drive to Maxwell AFB/Downtown. While I'm sure this varies person to person, my experience with the other tenants has been great. I would highly recommend!

They offer small and large storage units on site, too! Really a nice place to live!!
