Friends and candles

5 Stars Might I say, the expectations were higher than expected! Elena was the bomb dot com--absolutely stellar service. There was another lady assisting us as well, and she brought the same top-tier energy. The atmosphere? Totally enjoyable. This was my first expo, and what an experience! The selection of fragrances was excitingly overwhelming (in the best way possible). If you're into unique scents and amazing service, I would very much recommend this spot. A+ all around!

Silly me, I went inside thinking it was a candle shop, and it is, but it's so much more. But, getting back to me waltzing in and stopping dead in my tracks. I saw the long beautiful chic counter and thought, "Oh no" this is a restaurant. So I'm trying to back out of there, trying to go unnoticed even though all eyes are on me, but the nice guy that works there hollas out, "Welcome in." I explained I thought this was a candle shop, and he smiled and told me it is, and not only is it a candle shop, but you also can make your own candles, shower scrubs, and more. What in the world, I'm in love!

Very fun activity for all ages. The customer service was wonderful and there are a lot of scents to choose from. You basically pick your favorites, then pick a candle container/size. Prices range from $22-$54, but this includes the whole experience. The people that work here help pick out a good combo of scents from your favorite list (1-4) and you get to mix the oils to your liking. It then goes in the container with the hot wax and they allow it to dry for 90 minutes. You can enjoy water or a drink while you make your candle. The candle can be picked up at a later date if you do not want to wait the 90 minutes. They do host private events outside of their regular business hours. We really enjoyed the experience.

I love this place. It's so warm and inviting! The have a very kind of scent you can think of. I brought few bottles of champagne and they poured and served for us. The staff is so nice and they give great recommendations for scents.

Me enjoying my day.

I was surprised on a date to make a candle at Foxfire Candle Works. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and given a small clipboard. We were then explained the process. We were to smell as many of the candles we wanted and write down all of the scents we liked. Picking 4 of our favorites at the end. We then had to pick what we wanted to make; candle, car diffuser, body products etc. I decided to make a candle, picking a square medium sized jar with two wicks and a wooden lid. They offer all different sizes, shapes and colors and my honey picked a car diffuser which came in different colors. When we were done we sat at the counter where the hostess went over the scents with us to make sure the 3 or 4 scents went well together. She then told us how to blend the products little by little until we got the scent we wanted. Since my honey picked the car diffuser, once he mixed his scents he was done. The candle took a little longer and needed time to set. ( This is the perfect time to have lunch or dinner at one of the nearby restaurants while you wait. If you would like a recommendation on where I went check out my other review.) I forgot how long it took to set but we were able to eat without rushing and come back and it was ready to go. The ladies at this establishment were so friendly and nice and made you feel welcomed. They explained the process so thoroughly and were even able to tell us what needed to be added to make the scents just right. I haven't burned the candle yet but when I do I will come back and add an update. I honestly think it will be perfect as it smells amazing. The prices were good also as they had a different range for all budgets.

Candle making was such an experience and so fun, me and my bf went for valentines for the Valentines special with wine and chocolate. The service was a 10/10 they were patient and helpful with the process and made the experience fun, will be coming back for any occasion.

My top scent picks.

Imagine a wall filled with every fragrance imaginable. You can mix and match them to create your own custom scent. You can also choose how to take it home, whether as an essential oil, a candle, or a perfume. You can even design your own label and name it. The price was great for the experience and product you walk out with. While you're having fun, you can also enjoy some drinks that are available for purchase. There are plenty of seats where you can listen to the instructions and get creative. I believe her name was Jennifer who gave us excellent service.

I went in today and had a amazing experience! Elena and the girls were excellent with the group. I think I'll definitely be returning to do this again with my kids later this week! My candle smells amazing! Thank you!

We ended up buying some individual scents as well! We couldn't resist!

My boyfriend and I went with another couple a few weeks ago and I completely forgot to write a review! Jennifer was absolutely amazing! We were not 100% sure what to expect when we went in but Jennifer talked us through everything. My boyfriend isn't able to smell most things due to his job but Jennifer was able to help him figure out what does smell good with the scents that he could somewhat smell. Our list was long of scents that we likes and it was great to have such a professional help narrow down the scene and help us figure out what scent we needed more or less of to make the perfect candle!

I brought my sister and cousin here for a little girls day out not knowing what to expect. We walked in to the most welcoming and friendly staff who did an amazing job explaining the details and process. Jennifer guided us when we got stumped on scents and made excellent suggestions to round out our candles. I will definitely come back!!

Locally owned and family operated candle making experience! My husband and I went here for date night and each got to experiment with scents to make our own candle. There was a birthday party with about 13 girls and several other groups filtering in as we were leaving! It was a great date night choice as they have beer and wine available. We were able to bring home 2 unique scents, "Good Enough to Eat" and "The Mandle" and will be back again!
