Shelby always does an amazing job with my hair color and cut! I never leave unhappy! With the coronavirus still a big issue, I was nervous to go out for non-essential reasons but I felt very comfortable in the salon because everyone was wearing a mask and Shelby would wipe down the seats before moving me. They also did contactless payment and checked everyone's temperature before they were seated. Great service and I always leave with great hair! read more

I am blown away. I called to mk appt w/my regular stylist to learn that she no longer works there. The lady actually gave me her new salon name, location & phone number. You ladies KNOW this never happens. It's usually the story they have no idea where the person works now. What an incredibly reputable, classy and customer focused way to conduct business. If I decide to change hair stylists, I will definitely go back to Beyond Appearance simply because of the way they handled this situation. It took no coaxing from me or desperation in my voice (you know how scary it is to try someone new), they were forthcoming and easily volunteered the information rather than using another tactic to try and retain a client. Friendly staff and wide availabilities for various services. I liked being able to book straight from the website. Their price is also very reasonable. Snacks and drinks are offered at waiting. My only complaint is about them not answering the phone. I called during holiday season and the voicemail was not updated to say that they were closed for like a week. I waited for a call back for a couple of days and finally figured out that they were out. Even after they came back I could not easily get someone on the phone during normal business hours. Hopefully they will get someone who can attend the phone rather than hoping that a stylist who is not with a client will get the phone. read more

Shelby is the best and one of the only people I trust with my hair. I even travel from college in bama to NC with the sole purpose getting my hair done by her. She knows what she's doing, what will look good on me and makes the whole experience 10/10. The vibe of Foxie is amazing too. Between the decorations, the plants, the middle table with all the fun products, everything is so pretty. It only took me 20 years to find the best hair salon and I'm so happy I did!! I called on March 8 and made an appointment for my make up to be done for my engagement photos I was booked for April 15 which was well over a month from then. I then called today March 30 just to check and see what time my appointment was for because I had forgotten , when I called I was advised that they did not have any make appointments down for that day . I was called back an hour and a half later and was told that the girl I was originally scheduled with had decided to take the day off and now they're booked and don't have anybody else that can do my make up . So the business let her take the day off and they didn't bother rescheduling her appointments and now I don't have anywhere to do my make up for my engagement photos read more

What an awesome place. I go here occasionally for a blow-out and style, and have never been disappointed. I asked for a really early appointment for a photo shoot hours before they opened for business and Becki didn't hesitate! She even brought her kiddos with her. That's above and beyond! My hair is thin and brittle, and they use great products that add life back into my hair for several weeks after I leave. Becki is my go-to stylist, but I've had style by other staff and I'm always happy! The owner has such passion for what her business does, and you can certainly feel it when you have an awesome experience in any of their chairs! I highly recommend this business for any of your color, cut and style needs. They're locally owned and simply awesome. Can't wait to go again! read more

I feel as though I paid way too much to have highlights done for them not to be seen. I paid almost three times the amount that would be paid at a normal salon, though I expected to pay more for a great job, it is barely visible that I had highlights done. Honestly very disappointed.
