THe inside is a typical pub, stools, tables, stage. They have an outdoor smoking area which is really great because it also has a cover for when it rains. The live band they had on saturday was incredible. The age is a bit young i .e I think majority were 18 - 21 years old. Drinks are pretty reasonable - i think it was 4€ (shows how good a time I had!), they also had fishbowls which i remember were 10 euros and was a great sharing idea to change it up from beer. But staff and locals really friendly, expect to not really understand the tipsy-drunk ones with the donegal accent. But was a good craic and definitely will be back here again!

We stayed in the camping site in our campervan. there are some mobile homes on site, not sure if they are private or for rent. The campsite is nice and small, well maintained and has all the facilities. Food in the bar was traditional pub grub and what we got was tasty, with generous portions. the atmosphere in the bar was great - locals and tourists chatting away. Then roll over to the Reel Inn (it's just at corner near the bridge) where they have live music every night of the week and usually a good crowd. As a local (or ex-local) going in here for the 1st time I felt like I'd walked into Deliverance (google it), some odd folk from the bogs, townies, rockers, and maybe a few fellas barred from all the other pubs in town, and then mixed in is usually a load of English tourists, and surprisingly it works! Everyone's having the craic, these bog critters are friendly and are trying to wind me up, we'll all supping our drinks and enjoying the music, the tourists are dancing away, and usually it's a great night, and everyone's good and drunk by the end of the night and I mean drunk. Sometimes the music is hit-or-miss, sometimes it's a bit of jam session, other times it's quite good. On quite nights there may not be many musicians there and the owner get's up and play. On Friday's they host a regular vinyl night from Turn It On, a pretty unique night out for Sligo and its consistently good - they mix it up with a range of different people playing their vinyl collections on the decks every week, it could be shoegaze one night, house another! There's always some sort of music night on here, on various nights of the week - they're quite active on social media, so check out their facebook page to see whats on. The drink prices are unbeatable, you'll have change from a tenner if you order two spirits (and a dash in each). There's a tiny wee smoking area down the back near the toilets, which is likely part of its attraction, so you're not left loitering outside the front door on the street - you still feel part of the place, by not leaving the building. The interior is standard for an Irish pub but there's a eclectic collections of curios behind the bar - reflecting the owner Paul's tastes, and by extension the cooler clientele it attracts - stickers from the famous Ace Bar in London for example.
