The funky bar sign out front was a good sign. - Tasting bar: nice and long with bubbles coming up - Bowl on tasting bar: glass with beautiful colorful flowers - Cool glasses: lady's image etched on them - Shop: nicely presented in an open space Lowlights: - Champagne: ones we sampled I didn't care for as much as others Not a destination spot, but worth it to pop in for a glass.

This Champagne house is part of the Vranken Pommery Monopole estate collection, and can be found…read moredirectly across the street from Pommery. They also have tours and tastings here at La Demoiselle, but if you have already been to the Pommery tour, you will be seeing something very similar, except that the atmosphere here is a bit more intimate and charming, as it truly is a fancy estate, vs. a large warehouse. They also have a large random selection of "unique" modern art exhibits on display here as well, such as a pudgy version of batman flying above the tasting room, and a floating chair trying to escape outside. The tours are also of the caves, and include tastings of the Millesimes d'Or. This place also required reservations in advance, but it was VERY empty as I think most people just stop at Pommery and pass this place by.
