We moved 3 large custom stained glass windows from our home in Illinois to our home The Villages, FL. The design had great emotional significance for us. We had a dilemma with 2 stretched canvas prints. We received these pictures where the canvas on both had bad waves and wrinkles. We tried getting them out ourselves but to no success. We called Framemaker's Gallery and wife spoke with Eric the owner. He recommended we bring them in and he would look at them and advise us the best solution. We came to an agreement with him where he would change the stretcher frame boards on both and then put on a nice frame to our liking. We agreed to leave them with him for a couple of weeks so he could work on the canvas and try to smooth it out while waiting for the frames to come in. We picked them up over this past weekend and could not be more happy with the results. They came out beautiful and cannot say enough good things about Eric's work quality and fair pricing. I broke the glass on a favorite piece of art work so I started calling places to get a replacement glass piece. Joann's wanted 120 for just the glass. I called frame makers and the same piece was 90% cheaper. When I went in the knowledgeable person helped get a piece of conservation glass which will better protect my painting and was still 80% cheaper than Joann's with a coupon. Highly recommend. We just picked up some framing work at the Framemakers' Gallery in Leesburg. We are beyond happy. They were items very special to us - three pen and ink drawings from the 60s of Frankfurt, my husband's birthplace and a leather handmade puppet I had gotten when I was working at our embassy in Turkey. Donna did an incredible job of framing and took excellent care of very delicate items. She listened to our ideas and gave excellent advice - they are beautiful!
