The field in the back right (closest to the pool) is in better shape and is the field I would recommend. When it rains, fields don't drain that well and even when there is the smallest amount of rain, there are HUGE puddles that are hard to get around that are on the way to the back fields. The price is reasonable at about $7 per player per hour. And leave your cleats at home because they aren't allowed. What I HATE about this park is that they do not allow dogs!!! Seriously... It's a PARK!! They made me leave with my dog and I couldn't watch my hubby play one time. A park that doesn't allow dogs is PATHETIC! Concession stand has a $10 minimum so bring a drink unless you want to treat your buddies to refreshments too! If you have kids, there's a little playground by the field closest to the concession stand so they will be entertained for 10 minutes until they get bored.

The staff here seem friendly enough, but they don't allow cleats on the field. They allowed us to play that one time because we didn't know beforehand, but they're strict about the rule otherwise. There are other places that do allow them but are more expensive. The main attracting point about this place is the cost. It's about $8 a person for an hour and that's damn good for a field that size. Trust me. They sell sports drinks and snacks at the cafe and they take credit cards as payment with a $10 minimum, so bring cash if you don't want to be forced to buy a drink. I might be inclined to come back here because I own turf shoes that I can use, but I paid good money for my top of the line cleats and I prefer using them rather than my cheap-o turf shoes. 5 stars for price and size of field, 3 stars for the cleat situation. Took my little one here 4 times already and each time have made friends with new parents. The park…read morehas been part of South Miami for a while and consisted of a 0.58 acre of land with a Gazebo on it but that was about it, until this past month when a kiddie park was installed: swing set and jungle gym with slides all atop a rubberized material was installed. This has reinvigorated the park. We exchanged numbers with one set of parents on New Year's Day who had a child that was just two days younger than ours. How about that? The park is a little closer to us than Dante Fascell so that's an added bonus. Green Lime Bikes are positrons on the premises so you can take off on a whim. There is even a Geocache somewhere in this park, but we never managed to locate it. Dison is small, but if you have a little one, it's probably just the right size for him or her to take the edge off before sleepy time.

Came here for The Lowlife 27 year picnic car show. This has been a car club I've seen for numerous years throughout Miami and mainly Homestead. You can tell thousands of dollars have been spent on these cars. From paint jobs, rims, interior, hydraulic systems, sound systems, and so much more. They really go all out and take their cars seriously! We walked around enjoying all the different cars and even watched the hydralic competition. That was interesting as I was nervous seeing then hop so high,but all was under control. We bumped into my little brother and his race car driving friend who brought out his car. He revved his engine and had everyone approaching his car..meanwhile, I had no hearing for about 5 mins,lol. There was 3 food trucks and non alcoholic drinks available for purchase. If you wanted alcohol you had to bring your own, wasn't a problem for my crowd, ha ha ha. I devoured a turkey leg with my BF and we were set. We stayed for hours just continuously walking up and down the lot checking out all the cars. It was a great day for all of us and can't wait for the same event next year

So today was a nice treat to walk around in a family friendly fair-style area and then gett to watch the rodeo. The vendors are all set up areound the actual rodeo area. The actual rodeo started at 2 with a super patriotic flag ceremony and beautiful singing of America the Beautiful and then our National Anthem. Loved that!! The events started with the bucs which was outrageous and then went on to other events. Truth be told, I could not watch the roping of the cattle. It was not my cup of tea. But, I really did love all the horse riding events! It was super cool to see all the expert competitors.
