When I went to get my order, the owner said she didn't love the look of a couple four inch starter plants I'd ordered so she sized them up to gallons for the same price, which I think is excellent customer service. I do think some of the instructions might be overwhelming/confusing to someone if it's busy or you're in a hurry and just skim over them, but I get why they have their process and it probably helps with efficiency, avoiding damage/contamination, and keeping costs to a minimum, which benefits the customer because their prices are phenomenal. I will happily follow some hand written directions when the result is I can fill my entire garden bed for less than a hundred dollars, yes please. I love the selection of native plants. I love supporting a local business vs a big box store. I love that the owners are knowledgeable and obviously care deeply about what they do. Def worth checking out soon! As a first-time customer, we had no means of knowing that the outdoor plants shouldn't be brought inside for purchase. There was no clear signage or anything on the door that would help guide us to where we needed to go or the process to check out. We didn't appreciate how snappy Angie got with us when we made the mistake of bringing the items indoors for purchase. I had also grabbed a few items that were reserved for other customers (again no clear signage or roping was used to differentiate the areas where reserved items and up for sale items were). Again, we got a bit of a scolding from the owner because of this honest mistake. I believe with more clear signage and directions for new customers, a lot of this confusion can be avoided to help make it a better shopping experience for all. Ultimately though sales is not only about what you have to sell, but how you sell it.
