As a solo diner I was initially relegated to the bar but, I don't drink so I asked for a quieter table and within 5 minutes they accommodated me with a seat by the windows upstairs. Never had to ask twice for something and easily able to answer menu questions and make suggestions. I actually hadn't planned on ordering the Fattoush but, when I said I loved tomatoes it was recommended and I am so glad it was. It was a standout. In the end I ordered 3 things bc I was dining solo: -Hummus with crudité (veggies instead of bread) -Fattoush - seasonal ingredients. -Red Snapper - about 3oz so small portion but perfectly cooked and flavored. Loved this. I very much wanted the knafeh dessert but I knew the portion was big and didn't want to be miserable and waste it. We did our first course at Old Gillman Grill for a French inspired meal and then did a walking tour of Chattanooga's alleys - which are designed by the community. Then we headed to the Westin for a very competitive scavenger hunt followed by a Korean inspired meal at Alimentari. The tour then ended with tapas and an espresso bean old fashioned (Basil Lime Spritz mocktail for me) at Paloma Bar de Tapas on the 10th floor of the Westin, which overlooks the city. The tour lasted 3 hours and the food was phenomenal!!! This is definitely a must-do again when I have friends visit!
