I was hit with a reckless driving ticket going 86 in a 70 (ridiculous VA driving laws). Chris went on my behalf since I was out of state and got it knocked down to Defective Equipment and only had to pay the small court fee. No fine or pointe on my license. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome! Highly recommend for your traffic ticket in the Capitol of speed traps, Emporia.

During that call I was informed that Mr. Randall would be on vacation and scheduled a telephone consultation with Mr.Randall for July 15. Subsequent to that call I received a YELP message to call Mr. Randall on July 13, which I did. After leaving him a short message I received a call from his office on the 14th in response to that message. It seems that the right hand has not communication with the left. We confirmed my July 15 appointment. Later, I received another call confirming the July 15 appointment. July 15 arrives, but no call at 4 pm from Mr. Randall, nor a call either to inform me that he is delayed or to reschedule. I finally called his firm and was shunted between several people. I was informed that he was in conference with a client and would call when he was free. At 6 P.M., Mr. Randall calls. His manner was unprofessional and dismissive. He begins his call by referring to me by my first name. I am a senior lady who has never met this man. I was shocked by his callow and informal behavior. After a brief conversation, I chose to end the call. Obviously, Mr. Randall, the first named partner of this firm has enough to keep him busy.

Absolutely the best!!!!…read more In July 2020, I received my first serious speeding ticket. Due to my driving record, living out-of-state, and a strong desire to keep my driving record close to perfect and no increases to my car insurance -- I contacted Mr. Randall Page. From the moment Mr. Page took my call - I felt at ease and highly confident my expectations would be met, if not exceeded. Additionally, my calls and emails were answered in a highly responsive manner and Mr. Page's team went above and beyond to answer my questions and/or to keep me updated. While Mr. Page did not represent me in court - I was quickly assigned an attorney that paralleled the excellent services provided by Mr. Page and provided the outcome I wanted. Additionally, Ms. Ashey Avent, Traffic Paralegal, was also fantastic - kudos to her for keeping me updated, answering questions, and just keeping me calm. (She needs to go to Law School). Due to my living out-of-state and unable to travel to Virginia for court - the Randall Page staff exceeded all expectations and I'm beyond happy to refer and refer and refer again to others. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

I had a few traffic violations and though minor in nature to most it meant a lot to me. He always exceeded expectations and achieved great results that I was much pleased with. More importantly, he cared. Bart would call me after a case was successfully resolved to tell me the news and also that he was praising God for the results. It meant a lot to me at the time to know he was actively praying for me and doing everything in his power to resolve the cases I had. Bart was a major factor in transforming my life for the better and I will forever be grateful for him and what he meant to me the short time he represented me. I highly recommend him for anyone needing legal representation.

I had a slightly more complicated case involving an appeal to traffic conviction. …read more Bart had sent me a solicitation for legal services and appeared to be a decent attorney. After the conviction, I wanted to appeal the verdict. I contacted him to handle the appeal. Bart said that I should had hired him for the first trial and there may have been a better outcome. He made it clear that he didn't want to do help me and didn't want to do a trial if it wasn't a criminal offense. He said I should contact another lawyer. Why send a solicitation for services, citing 25 years of trial work as a traffic attorney, if he doesn't have the "stones" to actually do the work and get paid to handle another case while already in court I guess being the Third of the G.H. Browns has afforded him the ability to not care at all about people who need legal help, EVEN THOSE WITH THE ABILITY TO PAY his fees. Do NOT waste time trying to contact G.H. "Bart" Brown...He will be of no help.

I wanted a firm that had an attorney I knew. After retaining that firm I learned that the attorney I knew had retired and was referring his cases to a new associate, who also eventually left. Handling my case then was a partner. I've since learned that the father of one of my son's children's theatre friends was an attorney at Rutter Mills. I feel certain he would have given my case the attention it deserved. And I'm also sure he would have known how to handle my emotions during depositions when I would cry because of the part of my life that was forever changed and the fact that the accident killed my beloved dog. The firm I hired recommended I settle for less than I deserved & had lost because the process was so upsetting for me. Rutter Mills handled the case of a former theater kid after his wife was killed in an automobile accident. I feel certain his case must have been gone so well because of the attorney we had both known so long. Should I ever have the need for a personal injury attorney firm again, I would certain retain Rutter Mills despite the fact that my friend has recently retired.

This experience has been incredibly disappointing and emotionally exhausting for my family. When…read moreyou hire a lawyer, you're trusting them to fight for you and protect your best interests during one of the most difficult times in your life. Unfortunately, that's not how we felt throughout our case. Instead of feeling supported, I felt like I constantly had to ask questions, follow up, and even uncover problems on my own. Finding out that certain things hadn't been done after being told they had was heartbreaking and made it very difficult to trust the process. I understand that law firms handle many clients, and I never expected constant updates. What I did expect was honesty. If there were delays or setbacks, I would have appreciated being told the truth instead of feeling like I was being misled. More than anything, I felt like my family's best interests came second. We deserved someone who would genuinely fight for us and treat our case with the care and attention it deserved. This experience added unnecessary stress to an already painful situation, and I hope no other family has to feel the same disappointment that we did.
