My friend just purchased a used Ford truck from this dealership. The check engine light was on…read more The dealer Mr. Drake said that it was a loose gas cap. On the way home the transmission started acting up. The torque converter was defective we thought. He agreed to make the truck right. He did attempt a repair but it did not fix anything. Before I got home, the transmission overheated. I have now contacted him again and he says that he is not doing anything else for me. I paid him with a Credit Union check so basically once it cleared he told me to go away. I am now facing either the cost of rebuilding the transmission or buying a new transmission. Neither of which he will make right. He offered me 400 bucks to go towards the repair. One final note about the check engine light. The year truck I bought has no gas cap. So I guess the loose gas cap excuse for the gas light was a complete lie. So, the transmission is bad and also the check engine light is still on. I did buy it as a used vehicle but, it is ashame I didn't even make it home on a 14000 dollar truck that was sold to me as a good vehicle. I hope you avoid this place.
