I hired Darrell Martin as a handyman on his offer to rebuild my brick mailbox and purchase supplies. He of course took a deposit of half of the expected cost and did a little work; poured a 1'x1' slab of concrete... never did any other work. he was hired December 19th, 2016 and to this day I have not seen him again. I have sent emails, called and texted him and for a while he had excuses and said he would be out "next Tuesday" he even said that he would bring the refund back to me twice which he of course never did. Please do not refer or hire this contractor as he may swindle you out of hard eaarned cash and force you to hire a respectable contractor that will schedule and perform the work requested on time.

I am not sure where to begin with how Brothers is just downright awesome. It all started when I…read moremoved to a new house and the bathroom plumbing was just not great so I reached out to a couple of plumbers and Brother Plumber got back to me fastest with a reasonable approach. Well Bobby T. showed up and gave a pretty reasonable flat-rate estimate to replace two faucets and a toilet. We figured the job would take about 1.5 hours, but it seems that just about everything went south from the beginning - not the least of which were a sketchy original install from the early 1970's and a tub drain not connected. Somewhere around 7 hours later Bobby T. knocked out the job and it all works great AND they stuck with the original price quote. Throughout the entire ordeal Bobby T. was fantastic and communicated what was going on, but most importantly finished the job by doing things right the first time. The artistry of the final result was also pretty fantastic and used a bit more copper than was expected. I would DEFINITELY recommend Brother Plumber to anyone for their workmanship and professionalism.

OWENS CORNING WARRANTY THAT THE TRIED TO MAKE ME PAY. I Had to go to shingles ABC-store to straighten out. 2. Plastic fascia and bird box supplied by me. 5 of the crew never seen before and treated it..... even dirtied the one I did years ago. 3. Specifically spoke about blending in the ridge vents. Again not knowing how. But later the finish crew re did with instruction to how. I gave a sample to Lankford of how to blend before they were done the first day. 4.They took down front gable vent without having a replacement. They bought a Vent from.... Not for brick house. I bought 145$ correct one. 5.Directly lied to me about satellite Dish ( gave free instructions on how) Duplex nails! 6. Supplied 80$ worth of stainless steel nails. 7.TRIANGLES ? ..... 8. Lone out my tools to do it correctly SHOWED UP NOT SCHEDULE BEEN RAINING Spent 3 hours trying not to tear out screwed in ridgevents tearing up the dirt road (told it would be leveled Not) New white drip edge MENTIONED IN FIRST VISIT HAD TO COME OUT AND REDO lead pipe boots flashings, new collar & caps, power vents and valley metal. He was our advocate and I could genuinely tell he wanted to help us. Joe is professional, responsive, and an excellent communicator and always kept me in the loop with the entire process. My new roof was put on today and I am thrilled. It looks great and I no longer have to worry about water leaking into our home when it rains! My roof was scheduled and installed within the same week. Joe's team was punctual, efficient, and very clean. My old roof was removed and the new one was installed in 4 hours! It was amazing! We've now had three unbelievable experiences with Dave from GP Plumbing. In our 50 year lives (30…read moreof them where we've had the chance to encounter plumbing issues), we've never encountered anyone like Dave. You might have a good experience once with with a contractor, maybe twice, but by the time you have a third amazing experience, you know you found a gem in the rough. We have many stories, but the latest is from the past couple days. There was water leaking through the wall (!!), Dave came over and quickly assessed what was going on. Then the next morning we saw that the situation has deteriorated and it was actually something affecting two separate units. This was on Saturday night and Sunday morning-- Dave was over in 20 minutes immediately on both days helping us mitigate the damage which was considerable but could've been much much worse. so now we're here on Sunday afternoon, Dave is replacing a water heater, mitigating water damage with eight fans running ... diagnosed the original source of the problem and documented it all on an SD card for us. The quick summary is that a clogged toilet led to thousands of dollars of damage. We're not happy about it, but now we know what happened, and in Dave's hands we're gonna get back to some sense of normalcy here soon. Dave puts his heart... And sweat... into his projects. He works his butt off - truly.

I invited him to see the projects I had in mind. He came out to see and discuss them and provided estimated costs in writing efficiently. My wife and I reviewed the plans and hired Solid Construction to do all four of our projects (three involving carpentry and one involving replacement of some concrete sections with decorative polished rocks in our driveway). We are very happy with the work done at reasonable prices too. We found Paul (and his crew) easy to work with, trustworthy, and a delight to be here.
