I called a ceterfied arborist witch confirmed there was no problem with the tree as burr oak trees heal wounds on their own as it was compartilizing healing itself. and there was no rot into the main trunk!!!!!! They said it could last for years Idid send this moron a text right after and telling him this and said nothing against you but glad I got a second opinion. At that time this crook blocked my phone and I had no idea. But when I called him this spring to let him know he missed over 70 % of the dead limbs after the tree started budding out I hired him to remove. my call would not go through. Finally I used my wife's phone and the excuses started because he answered. He then had the audiaciy to tell me he did a wonderful job and my tree is dying !!!!! I told him to come down and bring your arborist certificate and pictures you took in the fall and look as the dead limbs over my house are still dead for 3 years now are still there!!!!!!! This idiot has no clue what he is look'ing for and even trimmed one limb that was not even dead. He has refused to come down here because he knows he is a scammer!!!!!! Beware of this crook dont have him touch your oak tree you will be sorry!!!!!

American Way did a great job of taking down the tree and grinding the stump, but they still owe us the fill dirt and seed. We had other projects going on in the same area of the yard and asked them to hold off on the dirt until we needed it. We have those projects done and have called American Way for the fill dirt. They have promised they would deliver the dirt, but have not come through. We have followed up many times and we either get an answer machine or someone answers and hangs up. We have left a message giving them the option of paying us back for the dirt and seed. We have not heard back from them. UPDATE 1/23/16 I finally got a refund of $100 for the dirt that was never delivered. They paid $65 in cash and $35 by check (pending it clears).
