This Franprix is probably the closest grocery store to my apartment in Paris, so I've popped in a few times to pick up groceries. However, it's rather small and the selection is not great. They have a limited variety of produce (both fresh and frozen). In addition, the store is a little dingy and dirty. It only took me a few visits to realize it's much more worth it for me to walk a bit farther to do my grocery shopping, as many of the grocery stores and supermarkets just a short walk away have more options and are better maintained. Even the nearby Carrefour City locations, which are also pretty small in terms of floorspace, seem to have wider and fresher selections.
It is possible to get packages delivered here if you're shopping online with a company that offers delivery via Chronopost or the like. It seems pretty secure, as the packages are held in a locked storeroom. You just need to show your proof of ID to the employee when picking up your package. read more
