I sometimes get choice paralysis when things are cluttered, but here the layout makes exploring fun instead of overwhelming. The ceramics and vases are even color-coordinated, which is incredibly satisfying to wander through. On my visit, I stumbled across a brand-new set of books I adored as a kid, and the clerk kindly gave me $5 off. That little gesture made the experience even better. If you enjoy thrifting and appreciate a clean, thoughtfully arranged space, I'd definitely recommend stopping by Attic Fanatics, whether you're traveling through or lucky enough to live in Pahrump!

I always can find something in here for a reasonable price. People really do discard clothes just because they're tired of them, and not everything is worn looking. There are some really nice pieces in the store that look like they're brand new. You just have to check it out and see for yourself. I'm sure once you start thrifting, you'll be addicted too! You can always afford new clothes when you're not paying $40 per piece. Oh, & this is a consignment store, so you can clean out your closet. Donate the items, and they are on consignment for two months.

The fun begins when you walk in and hand sanitizer is forced on you, because everything there is so…read moresanitary. There are 4-5 women at the entrance who are the equivalent of Wal-Mart greeters (Gestapo). When this was just a periodic rummage sale, it was an okay place to shop. Now that they're open once a week, they've become greedy. I went up to pay and waited patiently while the Gestapo carried on a conversation and ignored me. When a gentleman walked up behind me, they all jumped to help him. Five old women and an unaccompanied older man=Senior Dating Game. I was invisible. Ooh! This man was donating an extra dollar! Please wait while we honk the bike horn! The gentleman left, and I was finally acknowledged: "What do you need?" Well, I guess the two records in one hand and money in the other did not tip her off. That, and the fact that I had been standing in front of the cashier for five minutes. They used to charge 25 cents for vinyl records. Today, each of their OLD vinyl records had a note with an eBay price on them. I picked out two 45rpm records, expecting to pay 50 cents. When I went to pay, the lady told me $3 each. I told her I thought the notes were from someone's yard sale leftovers. She said no, those were their prices. I told her they weren't worth it and handed them back. This was very similar to my previous visit there, so I won't be back. Ever.

"Don't touch that" becomes almost a dare to little ones. We came across this place on the recommendation of my in-laws. It's a small store, but with so many neat, ever-changing items. The ladies working here are so kind and helpful. They checked on us frequently, but not in a nagging way. Best part of all. We visited on July 4, 2018 when they were having a 50% off ALL items sale - not just certain categories like other thrift shops in the area.
