I always crave NYC style pizza, with the thin and slightly crispy -- yet foldable -- crust. These guys hit every note. I called ahead to see if they could accommodate vegan options since it was my fiancé's birthday, and from the start the experience was great. Our waiter, Dino, was amazing ...friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome, which really set the tone for the night. He took my call earlier and reassured all my dietary needs. Came in for lunch and noticed alot of frequent people who work nearby. We had the Buffalo Pizza and the Margarita Pizza with Chicken. Good news; we waited so that means the pizza was freshly made! We had the Clam Pizza which was interesting. The pizzas were great and we loved the crispy crust! However the service was subpar. When we approached the counter saying this was our first time, I asked what their popular pizzas are, the guy rudly replied saying, "it's on the menu!" What a hidden gem on Water Street! We drove around looking for something new and decided to try Fratelli's--and we're so glad we did. Dino, our server, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The kids absolutely loved his playful energy, and he was super helpful with the menu. We ordered the pepperoni pizza (hands-down the best in Henderson!), garlic & cheese bread, linguini with clams, and eggplant Parmesan. The marinara sauce was out of this world. Dino was charming, and the entire staff made us feel right at home. It's a warm, inviting spot that's totally family-friendly, but also perfect for hanging out with friends over delicious food and drinks. 4/10/26 The good are their fresh crisp salads. The strange is the Bolognese spaghetti I had. It had diced up pieces of sliced sausage, like cold cut or salad Sausage meat. New York style, thin, pliant, and kissed with toppings of startlingly high quality. But pizza, with all its subjective nuance, is almost a red herring here. You'll be perfectly happy with it, but you would be remiss ......tragically so, if you stopped there. For what truly seduces at Fratelli's is not merely dough and cheese, but the quiet mastery that lies in what so few Italian-American joints manage to consistently perfect: the sauce. This tomato sauce is the bedrock, the basso continuo of the menu. It is consistently bright, a scarlet balance of sweet and tart, umami and savor. It tastes not of tin....like lower quality canned domestic tomato product.......but of sun, as though each tomato had been plucked at its reddest blush and coaxed into a silky crescendo.... This stuffs from Italy. Take the arancini: rice balls, New York-sized, meaning they could double as paperweights or baci balls. Split one open and you'll find not a lumpen mass..... but a tender, textural revelation, their heft yielding to airy grains, with or without a pocket of meat, always anchored by that magnificent sauce. These are not so much appetizers as declarations of intent. Then there is the spaghetti with sausage: A classic, yes, but rendered here with a restraint that feels positively modern. The pasta holds its al dente poise, the semolina speaking through the sauce, not smothered by it. The sausage has that magic ratio of fat to fennel, pepper to salt -- assertive without bullying. A drizzle of chili oil (my own heresy, I admit) lifts the whole plate into something worthy of a wink from Naples itself. One hopes Fratelli's takes the hint and slips chili oil onto the menu. And finally, the Donnie Special -- a sandwich so direct it verges on poetry. A cutlet, crisp and tender, laid inside fresh bread with tomato and balsamic. We finally had the chance to try Fratelli's, after it being recommended and hearing these are family members from the family owned Cugino's, which we frequent pretty often. We were expecting the same set up as Cugino's, and the same menu, but it isn't. It's a simpler menu, with the same family sauce recipe lingering in the recipes. We walked in and were greeted immediately and advised to sit where we wanted. We were brought the menus, offered drinks, and our server gave us time to browse. When we walked in it was a slow, but by the time we left, Fratelli's was packed with diners, pickup orders, and door dash pickups! It was very peaceful and family oriented, it has a more modern look than Cugino's, and they also serve alcohol! Which is great for game days, hanging out with friends, or family dinners where your pasta dish may fancy a glass of wine. We tried the mozzarella sticks with Mariana, the mild wings as appetizers. I don't know what's in their mild sauce but we all loved them. It was like smoky, with a hint of garlic, and a mild kick at the end, but not overwhelming for the palate. The mozzarella sticks were basic, but they were fresh and didn't have any oily residue, and the cheese melted right off the breading beautifully. Our teen got the ravioli with bread, you have the choice of a salad also if you want to not have the bread. We got a pepperoni pizza, large to share. The ravioli and bread came out hot out of the kitchen, simply topped with their sauce. You can also see the hints of basil from it steeping and being homemade. Our pizza was fresh, crispy, flaky crust, and also generous sizing for the price you pay. Everyone in the kitchen was professional, servers were friendly and kind, and the establishment looked new, and they have a more mini selection of options you can take home with you to cook if you'd like. If you're looking for a place to sit with your friend and loved ones, and if you want to enjoy some homemade food, Fratelli's is a must on Water street! We'll be back for those wings! Their food, service and family atmosphere is amazing! We would regularly dine at their family's place near UNLV and were quite sad to not see their faces when we went last. After a quick search we found they opened a place in Henderson. Our hearts and bellies were full today after dining at Fratelli's and visiting with them! We are obsessed with their marinara sauce. Their meatballs, chicken parm and pizza are divine. We haven't explored much more on the menu since those were showstoppers! So glad they are a bit closer to us! We were driving up Water Street discussing dinner options when we saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It.Was.Fantastic! Upon entry, I was a little surprised by the sparsely placed tables and the check out counter with a cold case front and center. I initially thought we'd have to order and then find a seat however, a friendly server appeared and seated us and took our drink order. They have a few beers and wine options; 2 whites and 2 reds. We chose Pino Noir which was good but served a bit warm (nothing a few ice cubes couldn't fix). I would love to see a Lambrusco (and maybe another sparkling) on the menu! We decided to try the basics tonight: mozzarella sticks with marinara, Caesar salad, and meat lovers pizza. The mozzarella sticks were crispy and perfectly cooked, the marinara was on point. The Caesar salad was really good too - dressing tasted homemade with generous croutons. The pizza arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious, we both commented on how much we were enjoying it and, despite the appetizer and salad, were compelled to eat another slice. The NY crust is perfection, sauce is divine, the cheese is really real, and the meats all tasted fresh. This pizza is legit. Our waitress was superbly attentive and checked on us multiple times, as did a few others. Everyone was genuine and welcoming. They also have a small pantry full of Italian staples you can purchase to enhance your own culinary creations. We ordered a slice of cheesecake and a tiramisu to go. Thoroughly enjoyed both at home, once dinner digested a bit. We're so happy to have discovered this "hidden" gem of a restaurant. I'm sad to say I've lived nearby for so long and never knew it was here. I know taste in pizza is very personal but, for me, this is the best I've had in Vegas and I'll be returning as often as possible. Looking forward to trying many other items on the menu, too! Heard that Gugino's had opened a new location in Henderson so we stopped on the way home from AZ.~ I believe this location is Gugino's sons' as propieiters ~ Located in old downtown Henderson past the ice rink offering lots of free parking it is not quite like Gugino's near UNLV, it is quite still deeelisshh. A bit more restaurant like as not as many sandwiches on the smaller (atleast so far) menu. My husband did have an Italian #2 (I think) YESSSS!, same offered as the Maryland Pkwy /UNLV location. And YESSSS! Like magic the entire sandwich disappeared My usual sandwich was not offered (maybe they would have made it, if I had asked) so I tried the ham, provolone & ricotta calzone~ YUMMMMM! Had a really great time at Fratelli's yesterday. We went midday so it wasn't busy. First of all, our server was GREAT! She was very inviting and knowledgeable about the food and all of their processes. She let us know that a lot of items were scratch made in house. I told they should advertise that! The mozzarella, rice balls, marinara, meatballs..all made in house. She even mentioned that the owners were interested in curing their own meats! That would be awesome! We ordered the calamari and the Sicilian rice ball. I've never had one before and I try to expand my taste buds when I can. So I veered away from my usual caprese salad and Alfredo, lol! The calamari was really good and the marinara was nice! A little while later the rice ball arrived and it was bigger than I thought it would be. We cut it open and were pleasantly surprised. I was thinking the rice would be a little drier than it was. It was moist and cheesy! The ground beef and peas were good but they had other cheesier options that I probably would have preferred but we were trying something different and didn't know what exactly they were. Now we know and will be getting the parm rice ball next time. We ordered a meatball sandwich to-go for later and that too was really good! I really love the sweet spiciness of the marinara. The meatballs were perfect! The bread was a little dry but that might have been because we ate it later that night and not right away. All in all a great experience at Fratelli's! Not a bad place for an inexpensive slice of pizza. My coworkers order from here from time to time and the pizza is always really good. I usually like a thicker crust but their thin crust is really good. My only complaint is that the menu shows they do their grandma pizza by the slice but they said they do not do that anymore. Additionally their fries state on the menu that they are battered and seasoned but the fries were just plain fries that were soggy and had no flavor. I think they need to update the menu on their website so customers know what to expect. The pizza is great though! read more

I was recently at this location. They open at 12pm. We entered the restaurant as soon as they opened. I was excited to order one of their most popular dishes, their lasagna, however I was told that they were out of it! What?! How?! How can you be out of one of your most popular items at opening? Someone, please make it make sense. I was so disappointed and scrambled to try to find another item to order. I decided to order the spaghetti with sausage. What I received was spaghetti with two whole unappetizing sausages that looked old and I took a small bite and it did not taste good to me. I was told that the restaurant owners are from New York, but I have never seen this in Vegas. I was expecting scrambled Italian sausage stirred in with the spaghetti. I know that I should have said something but I didn't mainly because I did not have time to order something else and wait for it to be cooked. I take responsibility for that. I ate a little of the spaghetti and brought the rest home. I left both sausages on the plate. I paid $5 for a Jamaican patty. A message to the restaurant, please remove this from your menu.
