The Berkley (Chesapeake) Fraternal Order Of Eagles is one of many across the country; with 29 existing in the Virginia Commonwealth. It is a Non-Profit Charitable organization whose motto is "People Helping People". Nice place for folks to belong with a family environment, great food and beverage prices, knowing all the while the money you spend is going to help someone in need or to fight a disease. Fraternal Order of Eagles No 795 - Chesapeake, Virginia

This is not a usual place I would frequent- mainly because it stays off the grid. Didn't even know it existed! Until my boyfriend's father had his wedding here. I was a bridesmaid. The Fraternal Order of Eagles is a club that takes its membership very seriously but welcomes all who are curious. It's situated next to what I can only guess is a Buddhist temple. You can see it off of 464 near the Perdue Agricultural Plant in South Norfolk. Everyone there is incredibly accommodating, friendly, welcoming, and a huge help. The place is surprisingly big sign a huge hall for parties, gatherings, and weddings. It's old, but has some serious character. There's a bar attached a lot like the Moose Lodge filled with old heads. I couldn't ask for nicer people to help us on my family's big day! read more
