When purchasing my latest car they were most helpful in suggesting the most suitable car for my needs also taking into account reliability and economical costs for repair. I have complete confidence in the staff and they will endeavor to carry out repairs swiftly despite their very busy schedule. Yes parking can be difficult sometimes but there are plenty of side streets and I can usually find a spot close by. Well done Glendale, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

This time, a full service on my Peugeot 407 quick, efficient and well priced. However, a couple of niggles appeared after a week or so. Called Glendale, they asked if I could bring the car in that day. Duly arrived, seen straight away. Diagnosis as I suspected (wheels had been switched during the service, so 'new' fronts out of balance, and a clip on the under-tray had given way following some under-engine work during service.) Sorted within 20 minutes of arrival, very polite and courteous, explained everything that was going on. No charge and free coffee. Can't recommend them highly enough. In an industry awash with charlatans, these boys shine out. 10/10.

The garage moved from being a back street garage to a quite large main stream garage which employs about 5 staff. The staff in my view are not very friendly and do not explain things in simple terms and always try to talk very technical to you to try and confuse you into getting whatever work they want carried out. There quotes are on the expensive side compared to many garages in South Shields, the work carried out by these guys is of an average standard and is in my opinion not worth the money that you pay to have the job done.

I have been a customer of Andy at Automotive Maintenance for well over 10 years when he fixed a…read moreproblem with my car that 2 other garages could not even find, and I can honestly say that he and his staff including Michell his wife on reception have always been very friendly, happy to help, and above all professional and prepared to go the extra mile to find out and rectify any problems. unfortunately I recently lost my husband and as you can emagine when I experienced an intermittent fault on my car which is the worst kind of fault it seemed like a major problem to me, but Andy was so sympathetic and nothing was too much trouble he found the fault rectified it and explained everything to me so that I understood, and as I am in my 70's he had to keep it very simple I always recommend him to friends and would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone.

They always give you an honest quote and i've always found it very reasonable. The guys in the garage are friendly and being a lady they dont talk down to me or treat me like i'm stupid as most garages would.
